Mephistopheles (Kiaran Hinds) and his henchman Blackout (Johnny Wyworth) are hunting for a woman and a child. The action movie "Ghost Rider 2", the actors and the roles of which were selected by the types of each other as a co-producer, has a rather trivial plot.

Not all the actors in the movie Phantom Racer 2 could compete in their mastery with the leading actor Nicolas Cage. From the very beginning of his creative career, Nick Cage was offered the roles of complex, strange, and for the most part extremely unbalanced characters. Most often this was due to the fact that the directors considered his texture and especially the facial features somewhat strange, but Nicholas never worried about this. According to the actor himself, he experimented a lot with the image of the rider: painted his face with white and black colors, inserted absolutely black lenses, sewed a lot of ancient relics from Egypt to a leather jacket. In this form, the actor could wander around the set for hours without saying a word to his colleagues, staff or the director. For some moments, Nicholas himself began to believe that he was the Phantom racer. His idea was to shoot the second part not in the western style, but to create a story more interesting in the international context. The authors listened to the recommendations of the actor, so the “Ghost Rider” (the actors confirm this fact) turned out with a touch of “Da Vinci Code”.

Among the acting ensemble of the picture, Idris Elba also stood out, known to a wide audience as the performer of the leading role of the colorful and charming inspector Luther from the series of the same name.
