The question of where the series "Youth" was filmed began to worry fans of the television project since its launch. As it turned out, the series was not created in Moscow at all.
What is Youth?
Molodezhka is a popular multi-part film project telling the story of the Bears hockey team, the participants of which are fiercely fighting to become the leaders of the Youth League (Youth Hockey League) and the champion title. The release of this unique television project (under the leadership of Sergei Arlanov) has been waiting for a very long time: the director has already managed to fall in love with the viewers, creating unique images of the imperious "MarGoshi" and the loathsome "Ranetki".
Description of the series
Youth Hockey League (better known to viewers as "Youth") - a competitive game held among young hockey teams aged 17 to 21 years. In the series there are such opposing teams as Lions, Diesel, Chemist and others. The main characters of the film project are young guys from the Bears team who train hard to beat their rivals and enter the KHL (Continental Hockey League).

Young “Bears” are very talented, full of strength and energy individuals who dream of a great future in the world of sports. However, their personal lives - problems at school, university, constantly arising misunderstanding with parents and soul mates - does not allow children to concentrate on training. It is because of this that the Bears are so unlucky on ice: the team suffers defeat after defeat. The coach of the squad, Stepan Arkadyevich Zharsky, who completely lost all hope and faith in the guys, leaves the Bears. It would seem that all the dreams of athletes are destroyed. However, after some time, a new coach of the team unexpectedly appears on the ice - Sergey Makeev. It is his tight control, daily intensive training and correctly chosen motivational words that will help the guys to “grow” on the ice and finally become one team.
Where was Molodezhka filmed (season 1)?
This question began to worry fans of the television project since its launch. In the comments to the videos posted on the Internet there were many questions about where they shot the series "Youth".
The producer of the series Dmitry Tabarchuk revealed this secret. He told reporters how and where they shot Molodezhka (season 1). It turns out that preparation for the project lasted a very long time. At first, the search for actors who knew how to skate was in full swing. Moreover, all the guys on the samples claimed that they were not bad on the ice. Later, when they were asked to go on the ice and make some simple movements (turns and turns at speeds, turns, sharp braking), it turned out that in fact almost no one could skate at the level required by the project. Then the team of creators made the following decision: actors will be selected for the project based on only the acting talents of the guys. After the team was fully staffed, special trainings were held with the guys so that they could more confidently stand on skates.

It is interesting that, although most of the currently popular series are filmed in the capital, this project was created in another city - Podolsk. The very stadium where the guys from the Bears team train daily is nothing but the main pride of the city, the Vityaz Ice Palace. This palace is located in the Dubka Forest Park and covers an area of approximately 5 hectares.
Where was Molodezhka filmed (season 2)?
Many fans of this series after the release of the first season were looking forward to the second. After the release of the long-awaited second season, fans of the Bears began to wonder: "Where did you shoot the Youth?" The city in which the shooting of the second season of the television project was filmed is impossible to name unequivocally, because the work was carried out in different settlements of Russia.
For example, several episodes were also shot in the city of Podolsk, in the Vityaz Ice Palace, several in the cities of Samara, Krasnoyarsk, Mytishchi, Tolyatti and Chelyabinsk (however, only landscape inserts were shot in the latter). The casting of the series itself took place in the city of Chelyabinsk. In addition, one of the main characters of the series - Ivan Zhvakin (plays Sasha Kostrova) - hails from Chelyabinsk. At the casting, the young actor appeared, as colleagues on the set recall, with very long hair. A little later, when it was approved (after the second attempt), the actor had to cut his hair.
Fans recognize their home streets
In the forums dedicated to this series, many people will find out the places where they shot "Youth". Part of the scenes was filmed in the city of Mytishchi, near the central square. Tram number 4, appearing on the streets of the city, was shot in the city of Samara (on Democratic Street). A view of the city from above is also a view of Samara (the intersection of Polevoy and Lenin streets). Residents of the city of Tolyatti recognized several native streets in the series, and residents of Ulyanovsk noticed their own tram tracks. And even despite the huge amount of evidence that the series contains landscapes of various cities, someone still doubts where they shot the series "Youth", arguing that the region number on the cars corresponds to the code of the city of Ryazan. Be that as it may, the director of the project Sergey Arlanov and producer Dmitry Tabarchuk really managed to create some kind of hype around the tape and force fans to watch this series more closely, to look for places where they created "Youth", identifying familiar streets.
