Origin (Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith 2005)
Luke Skywalker was born with his sister Leia in Polis Massa on 19 BBY, in the family of Senator Padme Amidala and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. The birth of the children was kept secret, because at that time the Great Purge of the Jedi was taking place. Emperor Palpatine, with the help of the clone army, achieved absolute power. Most of the Jedi were killed, and those who were lucky enough to survive were forced to hide. During childbirth, Padme dies, entrusting the fate of the children to the mentor and friend of Anakin Obi-Wan Kenobi. In order to protect Luke and Leah, he decides to separate the children and hide. Leia is sent to foster care for Senator Bail Organa's family from Alderaan, and Luke is sent to his uncle and aunt on Tatooine, where his father grew up.
The Young Years (Star Wars, episode IV: The New Hope, 1977)
The first meeting of the viewer with the main character takes place on Tatooine, where he lives with his uncle and aunt. Despite the kindness of Owen’s adoptive father, the young man often does not get along with him, because he dreams of being a pilot and spends a lot of time preparing instead of working on the farm. In addition, Luke loves to listen to Obi-Wan Kenobi's tales of the exploits of the Jedi possessing an energy called Strength. It’s not by chance that Kenobi lives on Tatooine: he flew in to look after the young Skywalker. Communicating with Luke, Kenobi made friends with him, however, leaving secretly his membership in the Knightly Order.
Change
Uncle Owen's purchase of two droids, P2-D2 and s-3PO, changes everything. In one of them, Luke discovered Leia Organa's message to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Luke realizes that the old man did not just appear in his life, and goes in search of Ben along with the droids to convey a message and get answers to his questions. In the process of searching, the young man is ambushed by sand people. Obi-Wan Kenobi comes to the rescue. The time for answers has come.
Van Kenobi tells the story of an army of clones, the destruction of the Order of the Jedi Knights, rebels, the Death Star and Emperor Palpatine, unleashing endless star wars. Luke Skywalker discovers that his father, Anakin, was a Jedi Knight and fell from the sword of the Dark Lord Darth Vader. Obi-Wan Kenobi urges the young man to join him and begin training in the possession of the Force, but Luke does not want to upset his uncle and rejects the offer.
Returning home, he finds his loved ones dead: they were killed by imperial attack aircraft. Nothing holds Luke anymore on Tatooine, and he accepts the offer of old Kenobi.
Millennium Falcon
In the company of droids, they are sent to Alderaan to transmit a message to the rebels with plans for an imperial space station called the Death Star. Thus, Luke was drawn into the struggle of the rebels. Star Wars is now becoming part of his life. Tatooine is overwhelmed by stormtroopers, and it is not easy for Kenobi and Skywalker to leave it. Captain Han Solo takes on the job. Having debts in the galactic criminal world, he needs money, therefore, despite the risk, Solo and Chewbacca, his assistant, agree to take passengers aboard their ship Millennium Falcon and fly to Alderaan. During the journey, Obi-Wan began training Luke, giving him his father's lightsaber and training droid.
"The Death Star"
Upon arrival in the Alderaan system, they found the planet destroyed and were captured in the gravitational ray of the Death Star. The heroes were able to get out, hiding in the smuggled compartment on the ship. There was a chance to escape, but one of the droids found Princess Leia on the ship. Luke, Han and Chewbacca went to the prison block, where she was. Having freed Leia, the whole group headed back to the Millennium Falcon, but ran into Darth Vader. Obi-Wan duel with him on lightsabers. Pierced by the blade of the dark lord, Ben Kenobi merged with the Force and disappeared. Saddened by the death of the teacher was Luke. Battle
After instructing the rebels on Yavin on how to destroy the Death Star, Luke decides to join them and participate in the fight. Having made friends with Han Solo, the young Skywalker invites him to take part in the battle, but he refuses. The day of battle is approaching, and Luke, who has the skills of a pilot, along with other rebels, is preparing to strike at the weak points of the Death Star. Many rebels die in battle, Luke understands: Star Wars will not be easy to win.
The original plan does not work, but in the end, Han Solo comes to the rescue of Skywalker. Luke manages to concentrate the Force to direct the proton torpedo into the narrow fuel channel of the station and destroy the Death Star, which was the main superweapon of the Empire. Upon the return of Luke, Han Solo, and even Chewbacca, the rebels and Princess Leia are honored as heroes. Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader feel enormous indignation in the Force field and the real threat posed by the young Skywalker.
Episode V (The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Star Wars)
The second time the viewer meets the matured hero three years later in a new episode of the Star Wars saga. Luke Skywalker by this time already participated in many battles and was promoted to lieutenant commander of the Alliance forces. At the rebel base of the snowy planet Hoth, Luke could have died during an intelligence operation, but a friend, Han Solo, came to his aid.
When Skywalker was unconscious, Obi-Wan's spirit appeared to him, who insisted on continuing his studies of the art of the Jedi. Luke was supposed to find Master Yoda on the planet Dagab and become his Padawan.
In the meantime, the Alliance is defeated in battles with imperial troops for the Hoth. Luke understands that he needs to change tactics, and decides to fly to Dagab. Despite his age, Yoda feels great potential in a young man and becomes his mentor. Luke is training hard. Finally, the time comes to meet the dark side of the Force, and Yoda sends Luke to the cave, where her influence is great. There, Skywalker visits a vision in which he sees himself in the form of Darth Vader. Yoda explains to Luke that the dark side will always tempt him; therefore, in order to become a true Jedi, Luke still needs to learn a lot.
The first battle with Darth Vader and the terrible truth
Anxiety for friends and constant visions, in which Luke sees Leia and Khan captive, prevent him from completing his studies. He goes to help his comrades. By the time Luke reached the Cloud City, it was already too late: his friends had become prisoners of the Empire.
Trying to save Khan or Leah, he engages in a lightsaber battle with Vader, in which he is defeated and loses his right hand from the dark knight's sword. Darth Vader encourages Luke to go to the dark side and become an ally of the Empire, revealing the secret of what is his father. Luke preferred death, but not the transition to the dark side, and rushed into the shaft of the space city, where he survived thanks to the antenna, which he grabbed.
Princess Leia saved her, who managed to escape with Chewbacca on the Millennium Falcon ship. Since Khan was captured and transferred to Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian became the new pilot of the ship. Friends had to develop a plan to save Solo, but first, Luke should replace the severed brush with a cybernetic prosthesis and comprehend the truth.
Episode VI (Return of the Jedi, 1983, Star Wars): Strength
Three more years pass, and the viewer again meets with his beloved hero. Now busy rescuing friend Han Solo Skywalker Luke. Star Wars, meanwhile, continues, for the Empire is building a second Death Star. Following Leia, Chewbacca, and the droids, who hastened to the rescue of Han Solo, who languishes in Jabba’s captivity on Tatooine, Luke discovers them captured. After Dagab, Luke goes with his friends to Endor: the rebels discovered that the Empire was building a new "Death Star" in the orbit of the planet. Luke senses the presence of Vader in the Force field and decides to meet with him, surrendering to the imperial troops. Surrendering, Luke meets with Emperor Palpatine, who is trying to tempt him with the power of the Dark Force. The hatch does not lend itself, and the battle begins with Vader, during which everyone wants to persuade the enemy to his side. After the threats of the dark lord to turn to the dark side of Leah, Luke beats with fierceness and cuts off the cybernetic arm of Vader.
Emperor Darth is no longer needed, and he orders Luke to kill his father, but is refused. Then Palpatine decides to destroy the young Jedi himself, using all the power of the dark Force, but Vader, turning to the light, does not allow him to do this. Now he is Anakin Skywalker, who, saving his son, throws himself under the mortal blows of the currents of the Force and destroys the emperor in the reactor of the space station. Episode VII (The Force Awakens, 2015, Star Wars): Ray - Luke Skywalker's Daughter
More than three decades passed before the viewer again met with his beloved heroes. After the victory of the Alliance, it seemed that the darkness was defeated, but evil did not sleep, and the Universe was in danger again. The dark forces, led by the leader of the First Order, Snoke, have formed a new Empire, which captures and subjugates the planets. Snowk's goal is the entire universe, and the dark Lord Kylo Ren helps him. The Republicans are once again organizing resistance led by Princess Leia. Fighting an adversary with a dark Strength and powerful Planet of Death weapons in his arsenal is almost impossible. The help of the Jedi is required: without possessing the Force, one cannot win star wars.
Luke Skywalker is the only remaining Jedi in the universe. He lives a hermit, and no one knows where. After defeating the Empire, Master Luke reinstated the Jedi Order and began training the Padawans. One student, who was very dear to the mentor, went to the dark side of the Force and killed all his students. Luke blamed himself for everything and went into exile. The rebels find an information medium with the coordinates of the location of Skywalker, Kylo Ren learns about this and begins the hunt for the map.
By chance, a droid in which information is hidden falls into the hands of a girl named Rei. Helping the droid deliver information to the leadership of the Resistance, she is drawn into the fight of the rebels. On his way, Rei meets former Finn attack aircraft, who becomes her faithful friend, and Han Solo with Chewbacca. Together they go to Princess Leia.
Kylo Ren finds out that Rey saw the card, and at the first opportunity captures the girl in order to extract information from her. Han Solo, Finn and Chewbacca set off to save Rei on the planet of the Empire, in addition, they have the task of destroying the enemy’s superweapon.
With the help of the energy of the Force, Kaylo tries to subdue the will of Rei to herself and feels a strong rebuff: the girl owns energy much more powerful than Ren. It turns out that Kylo lacks the ability to control the Force field and wage star wars. Rei is the daughter of Luke Skywalker, and her possibilities are great, she just did not know about it yet. Now the girl felt in herself all the power of this energy, which Ren himself woke in her.
Using the opened abilities, Rey escapes from captivity. By this time, her friends managed to turn off the protective shield of the Planet of Death, but it was still far from the final victory.
