Plot

Movie Saw: A Survival Game

The genre of the film “Saw: A Game for Survival” is horror, so it is not surprising that it begins with the main character Adam lying under water in a full bath, almost drowning at the very beginning. Viewers see a certain object that floats into the sewer when it frantically pulls out a plug.

Further on the plot of the film "Saw" Adam falls to the floor in shock. The room in which he is located is plunged into darkness. Rising, he feels that he is chained to a pipe.

After unsuccessful attempts to call for help, he decides that he is dead. At this time, a man's calm voice sounds, which tells him that this is not so. It turns out that he belongs to another prisoner - Dr. Gordon.

Corpse in the middle of the room

When the second hero of the movie Saw: Survival Game manages to turn on the light, they notice a corpse in the center of the room, holding a gun and player.

While Gordon is trying to open the door, Adam finds in his pocket an envelope with a player and a cassette that says: “Listen.” The same thing is found in the things of Gordon. In addition, the doctor also has a key that does not fit in any lock, and a cartridge.

Taking the player from the dead cellmate, they put the tape. An unknown voice reports that Adam was here because he spies on people with a camera. Lawrence is ordered to kill Adam before 6 o'clock, otherwise his family will die - his wife and daughter. At the end, the kidnapper states that there are many clues in the room in which they are located.

Search for tips

The plot of the film "Saw" is becoming increasingly fascinating. They find a hacksaw, but it doesn’t work to cut the chains. The surgeon understands that they are designed for the legs.

Finally, Gordon guesses who could have done this, but admits that he is not personally acquainted with this person. He only heard that the police could not catch the kidnapper with such a handwriting. Gordon knows about this since he himself was a suspect 5 months ago.

The surgeon tells Adam about the serial killer, whom the reporters nicknamed "Saw." He never kills anyone, but only creates situations in which victims commit suicide.

Gordon's suspicion fell when his flashlight with prints was found at the crime scene. The doctor turned out to be an alibi, which was confirmed. However, the detectives still considered that he could help the investigation by telling the story of the maniac. His victim was the 46-year-old Paul, who attempted to commit suicide, a simulator Mark, who pretended to be sick.

Only the addict Amanda Young managed to survive. She was wearing a device that, one minute after activation, was supposed to break her jaw. It could only be opened with a key from the stomach of a cellmate who was under the influence of opium.

Adam after this story begins to suspect that Gordon is the same maniac. He tries to prove that this is not so, showing a wallet with photos of the family. One more clue appears in it: the cross, which the serial killer advised to look for, can only be seen in the dark.

At this time, Detective Tapp monitors the house of Gordon, still believing that he is a maniac. At this point, he had already been fired from the police, as his desire to catch the criminal led to the death of his partner. Now he is obsessed with catching a villain.

Gordon and Adam in the darkness find the cross that the killer spoke of on the wall. In the opening is a box with several cigarettes, a mobile phone that works only at the reception, and a lighter. Thanks to the phone, Gordon recalls how he was kidnapped. He says that this happened after work, but later admits that at that moment he was leaving his mistress Carla.

There is also a note in the box in which Pyla offers the surgeon to kill Adam by dipping cigarettes in the poisoned blood of a corpse in the middle of the room. The doctor decides to do something different. He persuades Adam to imitate death by inhaling a cigarette. The plan of their victims is broken by a maniac. When Adam falls to the floor, he blows current through the circuit to check if the prisoner is alive. Electric shock forces the photographer to give himself away. At the same time, he, like the doctor, recalls the circumstances under which he was abducted.

Around 6 pm, the telephone rings. Gordon’s wife Ellison, who has been held hostage by Sepp all this time with her daughter (an orderly who showed the doctor a mysterious terminally ill patient), warns her husband not to believe Adam. The photographer admits that Detective Tapp hired him to follow the surgeon. When he showed fresh pictures in his apartment, he was abducted.

At exactly 6 o’clock, Sepp turns off the surveillance camera in the doctor’s house. At the same moment, Allison is released from the rope. Sepp enters the room, forcing her to call her husband again, however, she begins to resist, trying to break free. A detective from an ambush runs up to the shots. Sepp breaks out, intending to kill Gordon. A former policeman rushes after him in pursuit.

Denouement

Saw movie genre: Survival Game

Gordon hears gunshots and screams on the phone, but Saw directs the current along the circuit, forcing him to throw him aside in a fit. When he wakes up, the phone rings again. Elisson, who escaped, wants to warn her husband that everything is behind, but he does not manage to reach the pipe, so he still believes that his family is in danger.

Losing his mind, the surgeon begins to saw off his leg. Then he takes the gun from the corpse in the center of the room and shoots Adam.

Meanwhile, Tapp catches up with Zepp in the building in which they are held hostage. In the fight, the orderlies manages to shoot the detective in the chest. Entering the toilet, he sees that Gordon killed the photographer. But all the same, he points a gun at him, saying that he was late. The doctor is trying to find out why he is doing this, to which Zapp simply answers that these are the rules.

At the last moment, Adam attacks the orderly. He survived, as Gordon specially shot him in the shoulder, deciding once again to imitate the death of his cellmate. The photographer knocks the opponent to the floor, hammering to death the lid of the toilet. Gordon crawls away to call for help.

Adam remains alone in the room, still chained to the pipe. Searching for Sepp, he expects to find the key to his circuit, but instead discovers the exact same player, realizing that the orderly was the same victim as him. According to the rules invented by Saw, he was to take hostages of Gordon's relatives. And if the surgeon does not fulfill the conditions of the game, kill them. Otherwise, he himself had to die from the poison injected into his blood.

Amazed Adam turns off the player, and at that moment the body lying in the middle of the room begins to rise to its feet. This is the Saw. The photographer watches as he takes off his mask, with difficulty getting used to the bright light.

Saw tells him that the item, which at the very beginning sailed into the sewer, was the key to his chain. Next, a series of flashbacks is shown, from which it becomes clear that Saw all this time was a terminally ill patient of Gordon John, whom Sepp showed him.

Adam tries to kill the maniac using the nurse’s weapon, but Saw again passes the current through the circuit, forcing him to drop the weapon. Ignoring the screaming captive, he slowly leaves the room, finally uttering only one phrase: "The game is over." He locks the door, leaving the photographer in this room forever.
