Stechkin’s air pistol is a copy of the famous APS pistol designed by Igor Yakovlevich Stechkin.
The gun is quite heavy and large, but it is perfectly balanced. The case is made of silumin, and all internal mechanisms are made of steel and alloys. The copy is as similar as possible to a combat model, even the coloring matches.

As for the differences, this is primarily the lack of automatic fire. A few words about the shortcomings of the model. Stechkin's air pistol in every sense is a quality weapon, however, there were some flaws here. First of all, we are talking about a common "disease" of all structures with a relatively high power. The designers of the gun made the shutter wall too thin and equipped the structure with an insufficiently rigid return spring. Therefore, after the first cylinder was shot, two small chips on each side formed on the bolt in front. These chips, rather, spoil the appearance of the product, they do not interfere with the functioning of the pistol in technical terms.
You can avoid the problem. Until the moment the Stechkin air pistol fires its first shots, it is recommended to put a small sleeve on the barrel for greater compression of the spring, which, accordingly, will better absorb the shutter energy. Another drawback is the insufficiently large expansion chamber of the valve. This affects the fact that with the rapid implementation of multiple shots, the initial velocity of the ball is lower than stated.
The conclusion is simple: the Stechkin air gun is one of the best options in the price / quality ratio. Even taking into account minor flaws, we can safely say that the model will uniquely decorate the collection and give a pleasant shooting experience.
