- A new schedule needs to be done for tomorrow.
What is a graph? You received the answer to this question in the last section. But if everything is clear with the first three interpretations of this word, then the latter should be analyzed in more detail than we are going to do now.
Flexible schedule
A flexible work schedule is a work schedule in which the employee has the opportunity to choose the daily start and end of the working day at his discretion. In addition, the employee can choose the daily length of the working day on the basis of an agreement with his superiors. The introduction of a flexible schedule by one party without coordination with the other is prohibited. On the one hand, the bosses always stand out, and on the other, the worker (it is the worker, not the trade union or other representative representative body of workers).
Shift work schedule
A shift work schedule is an operating mode in which the work schedule may change on different days. Such a labor regime is common in organizations that work around the clock. The state structures that work under such a scheme include the Ministry of Emergencies, the police, ambulance, and fire department. From commercial enterprises, one can distinguish supermarkets, cinemas, catering establishments, gas stations, etc.
A shift schedule is also practiced in the work of companies that issue loans. True, in this case, it is needed not for the company to work 24 hours a day, but rather, for customer service for 7 days a week. An 8-hour working day imposes certain inconveniences on employees and company management, which is why they prefer to work in shifts.
There are 3 types of shift schedules:
- Two-shift. Two groups of workers go on night and day shifts. They alternate.
- Four shift. This can be either a twelve-hour working day with the following two days off, or a twenty-four hour work day with the next three days off. Most of all, such a schedule is common at gas stations, small shops and other similar establishments.
- 72 hour chart. Division into three shifts. The duration of one cycle is 12 hours. Workers, according to this schedule, work according to the following principle: two shifts per day, two days off, two shifts in the evening, one day off, two shifts per night and three days off. After the cycle is completed, it repeats again.
Work schedule with irregular day
An irregular work schedule is an operating mode that involves additional work in excess of the norm. It is used if necessary.
What is the difference between irregular working hours and overtime?
- Overtime work has clear limitations regarding its duration (no more than 4 hours for two consecutive days and no more than 120 hours for 12 months). Unregulated work differs in that it has no restrictions - its duration depends only on how quickly you can solve the problem.
- An employee who works overtime receives an increase in wages. An irregular working day is rewarded with additional leave, the duration of which does not depend on the number of hours worked above the norm. As a rule, the duration of the annual additional vacation is stipulated in the contract and is at least 30% of the time of the duration of the standard vacation.
- The conditions on the non-standardized working day are agreed upon with the candidate at the interview and must be indicated in the contract as a separate clause. For overtime work, the legislation does not put forward such requirements.
Function Chart
When it comes to what a graph is, one cannot but say a few words about this graph. Although this term refers to mathematics and has nothing to do with what we wrote earlier, this topic should still be given a couple of lines.
A function graph is a set of points at which the ordinates are the corresponding values โโof the function, the valid values โโof the argument, and the abscissas are the valid values โโof the argument.
On this we can put a fat point. We hope that the information provided was interesting to you and you learned a lot of cognitive facts!
