Actor Yuri Polyak was born in Moscow. From an early youth, Yuri dreamed of becoming an actor, and to achieve his dream he worked hard, was engaged in choreography and took vocal lessons from the best teachers of the capital.

After graduating from school, the young man submitted documents to the school named after Shchukin, where he managed to do the first attempt, having got on the course of Valentina Nikolaenko. After graduating from the theater school in 2012, the aspiring actor was admitted to the Vakhtangov Theater, where he still serves today.
On the stage of the theater he played roles in the productions: Othello, Mademoiselle Nitus, Dedication to Eve, Bovary, The Enchanted Wanderer, Sergeev and the Town. The vocal talent of Yuri Polyak found its application in the musical performance “Concert for an actor with an orchestra”, which was very successful on the stage of the theater.
Movie
In 2016, Yuri Polyak became laureates of the Mimic Ensemble Prize. Since 2018, the young actor officially joined the troupe of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater.
In parallel with his studies at the Shchukin school, Yuri Polyak began to build his film career, starring in secondary roles in various films and series. From 2008 to today, he has played about twelve roles in films.
The most memorable were the roles of a computer technician in the “Code of Honor” in 2011, a teenager in the film “A House with Lilies” in 2016 and the role of Kostik in the movie “Mother-in-law-Commander” in 2016. The audience also remembered his roles in the films “Law and Order”, Turkish Transit 2014

Despite the warm welcome of the viewers, the actor Yuri Polyak continues to devote his main efforts to theater stages. The directors of the Vakhtangov Theater regularly use the talent of the young actor in their productions.
