In addition to appearances, it is accompanied by a sound reminiscent of the twittering of many birds. No wonder "Chidori" from Japanese translates as "a thousand birds."
The Chidori seal is struck as follows: when the wearer accumulates enough power to attack, he begins to move at lightning speed, throwing his hand forward, thereby hitting the enemy through and through.
Damage: severe damage to health or death. Also, in addition to the goal of inflicting fatal damage, the Chidori technique can be used to hamper the movements of the enemy, as Sasuke Uchiha did, piercing him with a powerful electric discharge.
The technique belongs to the group of "silent bloodshed" due to the fast speed of action, even despite the presence of sound during execution.

- Due to the high speed of movement, the shinobi loses the ability to peripheral vision, in other words, the process of tunnel vision occurs. It becomes dangerous for a fighter to use the Chidori seal, since having noticed this shortcoming, the enemy can launch a counterattack. However, Kakashi and Sasuke have Sharingan eyes, allowing them to see the slightest movements in a full viewing angle.
Kakashi, having created the technique, later taught it to Sasuke Uchiha.
2. Due to the fact that a large amount of chakra is required to perform Chidori, frequent use becomes impossible. If you reproduce an attempt to perform, while not having enough energy, this process can lead to loss of consciousness or even death.

New forms
1. After a while, Kakashi creates an improved version of the Chidori-Raikiri print (lightning blade), which he later began to use in most cases. It requires a better concentration of the chakra and has a blue color (in Chidori it has a bluish-white hue).
2. Sasuke was able to learn to send discharges through his body and combat weapons.
3. Habataku Chidori - stronger than the classic Chidori, its sound resembles the flapping of thousands of bird wings.
4. Then the Uchiha synthesized Chidori and the Kagutsuchi technique, and after gaining the power of the Six Ways, the shinobi could even fight opponents of the highest rank, cutting them in two.
