Immortelle sand belongs to the genus of perennial, less often annual shrubs, shrubs, grasses of the Astrov family. The genus immortelle has more than 500 species. In the literature, one can also meet its other names: dried flower, Tsmin, cat's paws, sunny gold, goldfish.
Immortelle grows mainly on sandy or rocky soil near pine forests. It can be found both in Russia and in Estonia, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania. Representatives of the immortelle genus are also found in the Cape region, Australia, Madagascar, Asia and Europe.
In medicine, immortelle is very actively used (contraindications, of course, also need to be studied) as an antispasmodic, stimulating the stomach, choleretic agent, for hepatitis, dysfunction of the thyroid gland, gastritis, kidney disease, bladder, inflammation of the sciatic nerve, ovarian dysfunction, fibromiomas . In addition, it is used to stop bleeding, as well as sandy immortelle, which helps increase blood pressure, reduces the viscosity of bile and enhances its secretion. Decoctions and extracts of this plant are used to treat inflammation, as well as a bactericidal, tonic and as a means of improving appetite.

Grass immortelle. Contraindications
Immortelle has practically no contraindications, since it does not contain substances harmful to the human body. But, with prolonged use, some of its components accumulate, interfering with the normal functioning of the liver. It can also contribute to worsening the outflow of bile.
1. Immortelle. Contraindications during pregnancy: arterial hypertension, cholelithiasis, hypersensitivity. Allergic reactions are possible. In this case, the intake of herbal infusion should be discontinued.
2. Immortelle. Contraindications for cholelithiasis: it has a choleretic effect, can contribute to obstruction of the ducts with gallstones. For people with cholelithiasis, this herb is strictly prohibited.
3. It is also contraindicated for people suffering from high acidity of gastric juice, hyperacid gastritis, ulcer and other diseases of the stomach.
4. In severe liver failure, obstructive jaundice, Helichrysum is also contraindicated, and with prolonged use it can cause hepatic stasis.
Mode of application:
• Infusion of the immortelle: Pour 10g of immortelle herb 1 tbsp. water (80 deg. C), wrap for 40 minutes. Reception: three p. per day, one third of a glass in 20 minutes. before eating.
• For douching: pour 23 g of immortelle grass with boiling water (500 ml), insist in a water bath for 15 minutes, cool for 45 minutes, strain.
• In case of hypotension: one tablespoon of immortelle flowers in one glass of water (80 degrees C.). Keep in a warm place for forty minutes, strain through a strainer. Admission: 0.2 - 0.3 tbsp. 2-3 r / day, 25 minutes before meals
• Psoriasis: Two tbsp. tablespoons of grass per 1 glass of water (80 deg. C), let stand in the heat for one hour. Take: 1-2 times a day with a compress.
Before use, be sure to consult a doctor, because not only the immortelle is sandy (contraindications of this herb are described above), but other herbs can have a negative effect on the body, especially if your health is unstable.
