"VoskoPran" is a series of sterile mesh dressings that are saturated with medicated ointments and wax. The dressing is based on synthetic mesh. It does not leave fibers in the wound. The mesh provides a drainage effect and excellent air exchange for wound exudate. Beeswax has a lot of minerals, amino acids and vitamins. Wax organics are perceived by the wound as an active medium for healing. Therapeutic ointment allows you to provide a long therapeutic effect. Release form and composition of these medical products
By “VoskoPran” is meant dressing and medical material that is convenient to use both for the patient and for medical personnel. This disposable dressing is made on the basis of textiles (polyamide mesh), which is impregnated with wax, ointment is applied to it. The dressing on both sides is protected by polypropylene films and packed in a packaging multilayer material for long-term storage. There are several types of VoscoPran dressings that differ in size and type of ointment used:
- A dressing without ointment, its size is 7.5 by 10 cm, in a package of thirty pieces.
- An antimicrobial dressing with dioxidine ointment 5% 5 by 7.5 cm (five in a pack) and 10 by 10 cm (ten and thirty pieces in a pack).
- Healing dressing with methyluracil ointment 10% 5 by 7.5 cm (five pieces in a pack), 10 by 10 cm (ten and thirty pieces), 10 by 25 cm (ten pieces), 10 by 100 (one piece).
- A bactericidal dressing with Povidone-Iodine ointment 10 by 10 cm (in a package of ten pieces), 10 by 25 cm (ten pieces), 10 by 100 cm (in a package one piece).
- Anti-inflammatory dressing “VoskoPran” with “Levomekol” 5 by 7.5 and 10 by 10 cm (five and ten pieces, respectively, in the package). Wound dressing - 96.9% beeswax, 3% propolis to the mass of wax; 1 mg of vitamin E on 15 * 10 cm² of dressing surface. “Levomekol” is applied to the surface.
The functioning of the anti-inflammatory dressing
Means "VoskoPran" with "Levomekol" is intended for wound care. Thanks to it, it is protected from mechanical influences (pressure, shock, friction), from chemical irritation, contamination, drying of electrolytes (physiological fluids), secondary infection, and maintains a temperature that is optimal for recovery. The dressing also cleanses the wound and forms a microclimate, which contributes to the fastest regeneration.
Due to the mesh basis with a special weaving of the cells, VoskoPran incorporates excessive exudate, including harmful microorganisms (it passes into the secondary dressing), and also accelerates the natural cleansing mechanisms. Due to its influence, at the inflammatory (initial) stage of the wound process, the material does not stick to the wound, the ointment contained in it, while falling into its deep layers.
At the granulation stage, the dressing stimulates angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels in the tissues) and fills the violation with collagen fibers. As soon as the cleaning process is completed, the dressing adheres to the skin surface due to wax, is perceived as a biological scab and promotes the formation of epithelium.
“VoskoPran” at the epithelialization stage improves cell respiration and accelerates cell migration. Gradually, as it heals, the dressing naturally departs from the wound, and a flat surface forms in its place. The specific pharmacological characteristics of the drug depend on the type of drug that is applied to the dressing.
Thanks to the bandage "VoskoPran" with "Levomekol", both antimicrobial, that is, protecting against infection, and anti-inflammatory effect are provided.
Indications for use of this drug
The drug according to the instructions is effective in the following cases:
- first aid for burns and injuries;
- treatment of granulating wounds, including sluggish granulating.
The bandage "VoskoPran" with "Levomekol" is an external agent of a combined type with antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects. Easily penetrating deep into tissues with intact biological membranes, the ointment is active against a number of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms; regenerative processes are stimulated.
The VoskoPran dressing with Levomekol ointment is used in the treatment of purulent-inflammatory skin diseases, infected and purulent wounds, frostbite, diaper rash, trophic ulcers, pressure sores, various types of burns: radiation, chemical and thermal.
Contraindications to the use of these medical products
The use of VoskoPran with Levomekol ointment in accordance with the instructions is contraindicated only with high sensitivity to a particular dressing material or beekeeping products. The decision on the advisability of using a dressing during breastfeeding and pregnancy should be made by a specialist.
Instructions for use "VoskoPrana" with "Levomekol"
The method of using VoskoPran is universal for all types. It is necessary to open the packaging along the cut line, pull out the bandage. If necessary, cut with a pair of scissors a specific fragment, suitable in size. Remove one protective layer. Apply a bandage so that it protrudes beyond the boundaries of the wound by half a centimeter. After one or two minutes, you need to remove the next protective layer. - Ointment 5% “Dioxidine”: burn and wound infections, deep purulent and superficial wounds, purulent wounds on the background of osteomyelitis, wounds after surgery, trophic ulcers.
- Dioxicole ointment: purulent wounds of the first stage of the wound process (purulent-necrotic).
- Ointment "Levosin": infected skin wounds of various origins.
- Liniment "Syntomycin" 10%: inflammatory-purulent skin diseases, purulent wounds, long-healing trophic ulcers, boils, 2-3 degree burns;
- Ointment 0.1% "Gentamicin": skin diseases provoked by streptococci and staphylococci, with secondary bacteria infection with viral and fungal skin infections, infected skin wounds of various origins, varicose infections.
- Ointment "Gyoksizon": eczema, pustular skin pathology.
- Ointment "Methyluracil" 10%: burns, wounds, trophic ulcers (as a tool that accelerates the healing of tissue damage).
- Without coating with ointment: any agent can be applied on its own.
