Despite the sometimes biased attitude towards football clubs from Ukraine, the “independent” teams show a pretty good, as a rule, attacking game. And one of them (Dnipro) reached the final of the Europa League in 2015, where in stubborn confrontation lost to the Spanish Sevilla with a 3: 2 score.
Miner or Dynamo
The fight for the championship is traditionally waged between the two main favorites of the tournament: Donetsk “Miner” and Kiev “Dynamo”. Both football clubs from Ukraine regularly play in the Champions League and often show a very interesting game, regardless of the level of the opponent.

Football club "Veres" (Ukraine ")
Further. Unlike the aforementioned club, “Veres” was the brightest opening of the Ukrainian championship and is in fifth place. Before bronze it is separated by only one victory. In the last round of the Premier League managed to take points from one of the leaders of the Kiev Dynamo, playing with him away on a headless draw. Moreover, “Veres” never shone even in domestic club tournaments and has at its disposal players exclusively with Ukrainian citizenship.

To achieve such a result on the road with one of the best teams of the Soviet Union and Ukraine - is this not an indicator? And if the team continues to perform at the same level in the second round of the championship, then, most likely, it will be able to secure participation in European competitions. By the way, in a meeting with Shakhtar Donetsk, Veres also showed a decent game, despite losing 1: 2. In any case, all participants in the championship will have to take this unyielding team seriously.

As mentioned above, football clubs from Ukraine regularly appear in European competitions. This season was no exception. It is impossible not to single out the Shakhtar home game against the Italian team Napoli, which is currently the most attacking European team, which ended in a 2: 1 victory for the home team. Thanks to this, the Pitmen retain every chance of leaving the group in which there is crazy competition (Manchester City, Napoli, Feyenoord).
In turn, Dynamo could not qualify for the Champions League, but in the Europa League confidently leads in the quartet that fell to him. The Kyivans won both well-deserved victories over their rivals, initially losing in the long run, which undoubtedly indicates the motivation of the players who aim to go as far as possible in this tournament.
According to the results of the last championship, the list of football clubs from Ukraine participating in the UEFA League was updated by Zarya, which sensationally outplayed the Spanish Athletic from Bilbao in the last round of European cups and retained the chances of reaching the playoffs. Thus, none of the three teams can be written off, and if in the main European tournament the chances for a trophy are clearly small, then the Europa League is quite tough for them.
