How it all began

Father was not happy that his daughter decided to connect life with the theater. But he did not oppose her choice. The future actress Natalya Zhuravleva received a diploma at the acting forge - the Moscow Art Theater School. She studied at the course of V. Stanitsyn. It is interesting that when she entered, she simultaneously submitted documents to the Shchukin school. But she entered there, and dreamed of going to the Studio School.

By distribution, I almost went to Kostroma. But circumstances developed in favor of Natalia - and she began working in the troupe of the Theater. Lenin Komsomol. At first she played in small comedic roles.

She was inherited from her father by an excellent ability for artistic reading. And Natalia Zhuravleva decided to arrange a tour - gave concerts. But at heart, the artist wanted more - to pass on her experience and skills to the younger generation. Therefore, many years after she received a diploma from the Studio School, the woman returned there as a teacher. She taught students stage speech until her death.

Careers in film and theater

Natalia Zhuravleva starred in several films. In "The Twelve Chairs" (directed by Mark Zakharov), she played the role of a neighbor agronomist. Occasional roles went to the actress in the films Day for Thinking, Ellipsis, My Dad Is an Idealist.

In 2000, the actress was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.

Natalya Zhuravleva’s heart stopped in her eightieth year of life. The actress died on September 30, 2017.
