Of course, there is a way out - to call for help, but will it be too late? The article will examine the plot, actors and roles of the movie "Iron Knight-2."
Blood feud
There were cruel times. Times of knights and castles. After some time, one war was replaced by another, the battle by another battle, and the aggressive campaigns did not stop at all. Six years after the “First Baronial War”, in which the infamous Rochester Castle was besieged, a new enemy was already standing at the gate.
This Scottish army crossed the border to plunder the English lands. Maybe everything would have worked out, but during the attack, the son of Madoc, their leader, was killed. The guy did not calculate the strength of his tiny squad, for which he paid with his life. Now Madoc will do everything to take revenge. And it is unlikely that Rochester Castle will survive if a miracle does not happen.
The film "Iron Knight-2": actors and roles
Gilbert De Veschi (David Rintul) is a noble and noble knight. His family has owned Rochester Castle for generations. And, taking into account the outcome of the last siege of the fortress, he clearly did not expect that someone would dare even look askance in her direction. And in the morning he sees a picture of how an army of strangers stood at the gate, and asked Gilbert to surrender. Naive savages, what did they count on? After all, it is his land, his people, and he would rather die than agree to such conditions.
But Sir Knight should have known that Madoc was a formidable and treacherous man. For the sake of revenge for the death of his son, he is ready to use up his entire army. Of course, the castle seems impregnable, and its defenders are strong fighters. But he perfectly understands that his army has a numerical advantage. And victory is only a matter of time.
Gilbert's son, Uber (Tom Rhys Harris), is still too young, and therefore inexperienced. Of course, he has certain fighting skills, but you can’t take risks. After all, he may soon have to take the place of his father. Therefore, Uber is entrusted with a less dangerous, but no less important task - to bring a relative who, several years ago, went to fight, but still has not returned.
It was not difficult to find him, it was more difficult to persuade. Uber - the guy is honest, noble and wholeheartedly believes in family values. Therefore, I was very surprised when his cousin asked for a fee for his services.
But Guy Squire (Tom Austin) really needs money. Apparently, no one appreciated his military merits, so that he had no choice but to earn by the fact that he knows how well. Guy participates in clandestine battles, each of which may be his last. But while he was lucky, because he is an outstanding fighter. However, like his eyebrows.
But now Guy is not what his family remembers. The war made him tough and prudent. Therefore, having learned that the castle had been attacked, the knight first learned about Uber's financial capabilities and only then made a deal with him. On the other hand, why should he worry about those who remembered him only in moments of danger.
Rochester cottage
If in the film “Iron Knight-2” the actors played well, then in terms of the environment, problems are clearly felt. It is only from the outside that the castle seems to be a high, powerful and impregnable fortress. From the inside, it looks like a small country house with only a few rooms. But now it’s clear why there are so few guards. After all, even the one that is has to sleep on the floor.
Many of the scenes played by the actors who starred in the movie Iron Knight-2 are very similar to each other. For example, for the entire film you can see several times how Guy fights with the enemy in the same place on the wall. Moreover, even the angle remains unchanged, only the rival of the knight changes.
Battles
In the movie “Iron Knight-2”, the actors mainly played the scene of a long capture of the fortress. In general, such buildings, which Rochester Castle is seen from afar, are besieged by large armies. And according to the not too large-scale frames of the film, Madoc has only a handful of savages with blue drawings on his face. So it is unlikely that they would have survived such a siege, given that the food in the castle for at least a month.
Of course, it is assumed that he has plenty of fighters. It is not difficult to notice how their packs are thrown off the walls, poured with boiling oil and chopped into pieces. But by the last battle, it seems, there were even more of them. However, there will be no large-scale battles here, this is not the "Lord of the Rings." The actors of the movie “Iron Knight-2” appear no more than four soldiers in the frame. Close-ups are a rarity.
“And the blood will rush 2”
The phrase “And the blood rush”, which refers to the first film, easily describes the events of the second part. The creators need to be given credit for the amount of blood spilled that the participants of the battles expire under the savory blows of cold steel.
The red color contrasts perfectly with the gray palette of the picture, which prevails in the movie "Iron Knight-2." The actors are also well done, very plausibly convey on their faces all the horror and suffering that they experience from the loss of a limb or the received wounds.
As for the scenario, they could not come up with something new. Where already, after all, even the scene has not changed. Only the actors who played in the film (“Iron Knight”) changed. The essence remains the same. But for some reason I still want to see the ending of this story.
