The actress was born on January 19, 1930 in New Ulm, Minnesota. The girl’s father, Bernard Karl Hedren, was engaged in agricultural production, his mother Dorothy was in charge of housekeeping. My father’s grandfather was from Sweden, and his grandmother was an immigrant from Norway.

Alfred Hitchcock intended to continue working with the actress, but she refused.
