Almost any person has their own hobbies and hobbies. For men, interests such as fishing and hunting are most common. The hunting of wild boars has been especially popular recently. This is not just entertainment, but a kind of sport that gives a person a surge of adrenaline and at the same time develops dexterity, quick reaction, accuracy, attentiveness, caution and other positive qualities.
Having a hobby of this kind, you can learn a lot of interesting and useful things, which I had not thought of before. For example, a wild boar is considered an omnivorous beast. However, those who engage in its fishing know that the favorite delicacies of this animal include oats, corn and peas. It is thanks to the knowledge of this small weakness inherent in this four-legged creature that
the wild boar is
hunted on oats.
Fields with cereals are most often located opposite the forests, i.e. across the road from them. Traces can be seen there. If there are a lot of them, it means that the herd goes to feed on the field regularly. Accordingly, this is the most successful place where hunting for wild boar on oats can be arranged. It is very good if there are some swamps nearby, where animals can arrange their own beds. In this case, the chances of shooting an animal increase significantly. Moreover, hunting for wild boar in autumn is as real as in summer. After all, if there are still uncleaned fields, animals will definitely come there to eat.
Preliminary preparation
Having chosen a field for hunting, it should be carefully examined and an approximate plan of action should be worked out. Itβs better to do this in the morning. At the same time, you should not enter the field itself, as your human smell will remain there, which will scare away the boar. In the morning, you should outline an approximate route of movement, and in the evening, if necessary, make adjustments to it, depending on the direction of the wind. Hunting wild boars for oats requires a man to get close without revealing himself. To do this, you need to approach only from the leeward side. Otherwise, the ghosts of the hunter will be heard by gusts of wind, as a result of which they will run away.
Most often, wild boars go to the field at night, but sometimes they cannot help but be tempted and do it during the day. Sometimes they are even so carried away that, having lost all vigilance, they begin to make a lot of noise and do not hear the approaching hunter at all. If, at the same time, he makes his way against the wind without any sudden movements, he will be able to approach the distance necessary for a shot. In this case, hunting for wild boars on oats is likely to be crowned with success.
Caution is never superfluous
Hunting is not only interesting, but also quite dangerous form of entertainment, therefore it requires vigilance and caution. If at the sight of the beast your hands began to tremble, and also when you are not sure of the reliability of your gun, ammunition or the accuracy of the shot, do not try to kill a large beast that goes very close. Let it move away 30 meters and then shoot. At this distance, usually even the largest chopper, if it is wounded, does not turn on the hunter, but continues to run away. If you tried to kill a large animal at a distance of 5-7 meters, and instead only "scratched" his side, look for a tall tree that will save you from his rage. Most likely, the beast will rush at you. That is why you should always calmly and soberly assess the situation and make informed decisions about the shot. Do not forget also that in addition to the minimum safety precautions, some other rules should be observed. The most important among them is that you can only catch a beast when the opening of a wild boar hunt has already been announced.
