Short storyline
“Woman on the Edge” - a series based on the Argentine soap opera “Women Killers”. Each series looks like a separate story, and tells the story of the fate of a desperate woman who committed the murder by accident or intentionally.
The heroines of the film differ in character, appearance, status and lifestyle. Their faces change from series to series. Only a few characters remain unchanged in the frame: the psychotherapist Zvantsov, who is trying to figure out the motives of the crimes committed, and the lawyer Uralsky, who sometimes helps a friend, and sometimes acts as the defender of the guilty women.
Also, the dotted line through the entire series is the theme of the relationship of the psychotherapist Zvantsov with his ex-wife Maya and son Dani.

The script for the series “Woman on the Edge,” the description and name of which is quite intriguing, was written by a script team of 7 people. The project was directed by Marat Kim, who directed the TV series Kamenskaya-6 and Born by a Star.
Igor Minakov, the operator of the melodrama Queen Margot, the television series Angel or Demon and the adventure comedy Treasure Hunters, worked behind the camera.

Fortune smiled at the actor in 2006: director Alena Zvantsova entrusted Bukharov with the main role in the action-packed detective "Vaccine", which was produced by Valery Todorovsky. In the same year, Alexander became the protagonist of the fantasy action movie Wolfhound of the Gray Dogs. Together with Bukharov, Oksana Akinshina, Igor Petrenko and Alexander Domogarov were also involved in the project.

Elena Polyakova is a graduate of GITIS. In the series “Woman on the Edge”, the actors Bukharov and Polyakova appeared in the image of a married couple who once experienced a painful breakup, but is trying to continue to maintain at least some kind of relationship for the sake of their joint son Dani.
Polyakova from 2001 to 2004 starred mainly in episodes of series, until she was lucky to get the main role in the 8-episode detective Rauf Kubaev "Red Square".
