Alison Whitbeck, who starred in Shakhnazarov’s drama, is a real American. The girl was born in the city of Pleasanton and accidentally ended up in the cast of the film “American Daughter”.
Actors Mashkov and Whitbeck played father and daughter, once separated. Anne's mother married again, now a wealthy American. However, when her real father appears in their house, she reaches for him. Ann understands that she will be fine with Alexei, so she decides to take a desperate step and runs away with him. Since the hero of Mashkov does not know English, Ann practically becomes his translator.
In the final, it turns out that the father and daughter made a mistake with the direction and arrived in the wrong city in which they planned to get. They are no longer destined to get to the desired point - the police find them. But at the first opportunity, Ann escapes from her mother and abducts her father from prison by helicopter in order to fly away with him to her historical Motherland.
