The brain is a complex and interconnected system. It is considered the largest and most functionally important area of the central nervous system. The brain is involved in the processing of sensory information that comes from the senses, in planning, coordination, decision making, motion control and other functions. The highest task that this organ performs is thinking.
The left and right hemispheres of the brain have different areas of specialization. Each of them is developed in its own way.
It is believed that the main area of specialization that the left brain has is logical thinking. As a result of this, until recently, experts considered this area of the body to be dominant. However, as practice shows, the left hemisphere of the brain prevails when performing certain activities.
So, this area is responsible for language functions. The left hemisphere of the brain provides control over speech, memorization of facts, dates, names and their writing, the ability to write and read.
This area is also responsible for analysis and logic. Here facts, mathematical symbols, numbers are recognized and analyzed.
The left hemisphere of the brain provides a literal understanding of the words heard, sequential (phased) processing of information.
This area carries out the solution of mathematical problems. From here, control over the functioning of the right side of the body is carried out.
It is believed that the main area of specialization in the right hemisphere is intuition. Usually this part of the brain is not considered dominant.
The right hemisphere is involved in the processing of non-verbal information. In this case, not words are processed, but images and symbols.
Thanks to the work of the right hemisphere, a person is able to navigate the terrain and make mosaic puzzles. He can perceive the location and spatial orientation in general.
The right and left hemispheres of the brain are responsible for the perception of music. In this case, the right side is involved in the perception of sounds. The left area is in charge of music education.
The right area of the body helps to understand the results of the work of someone else’s imagination and metaphors. Moreover, a person can understand not only the literal meaning of words.
With the help of the right hemisphere, a person is able to fantasize, dream, compose stories, stories. In addition, this same area is responsible for the development of human artistic abilities.
Expression of emotions refers to the functions of the right hemisphere. The same area is responsible for sex (provided that the person has little interest in its technical side). In addition, from the right side, control over the actions of the left side of the body is exercised. Thus, if the left leg rises, the team came from the right zone of the human mental center.
The right hemisphere of the brain is capable of simultaneously processing various information. Here, control over the perception of individuals is exercised. Thanks to the work of this part, the totality of traits can be perceived by a person as a whole. This area provides a look at the problem as a whole, while the left hemisphere uses analysis only.
There are several ways to develop both areas of the mental organ. The simplest option for the development of both hemispheres is to increase the workload of each of them. So, for example, in order to strengthen the ability to think logically, one should more often solve mathematical problems, puzzles, solve scanwords. In order to further develop the imagination, the ability to fine art, you should regularly visit art galleries, exhibitions, and paint.
In addition, you can use the body. For the development of the right hemisphere, you should increase the amount of work on the left side of the body, the left - respectively the right side.
