At the time of hiring or during personnel shifts, each employee is assigned a work schedule that is used in calculating accruals depending on the time of work. This includes accruals for the used working and travel time, as well as accruals in connection with temporary disability. If additional data for time tracking is not entered for an employee, then accruals are made according to the general schedule. This form of time tracking is considered conditionally constant information. The appointment of a common work schedule is usually made for a long period. This accounting scheme eliminates the need for an additional influence of the employee on the calculation of his working time.
With the production load of the enterprise, it is not always possible to draw up a general work schedule. In this case, the accounting is carried out with a certain periodicity (for example, monthly), but, nevertheless, is a general schedule.
The work schedule of individual employees (or one employee) may differ from the work schedule of the enterprise as a whole. However, the scheme of using working time can be drawn up for a long period. In this case, an overall schedule corresponding to the official duties of the employee is created. In cases of inconsistency in the work schedule of an individual employee in a certain group with the work schedule of this group as a whole, the employee is assigned an individual system for recording working hours. Such a scheme, as well as general accounting, is used when creating a planned work schedule, but is compiled monthly. Thus, an individual work schedule is an alternative to the general schedule assigned to the employee.
In cases of discrepancy in the used working time with a given individual or general schedule, time records are made. The time sheet is used in cases where it is not possible to draw up a work schedule for a long period or in cases of calculating time based on the results of work.
In a certain form of organization of work, involving independent control over the beginning, end and duration of working days, a rolling work schedule is assigned. At the same time, the full production of hours according to standards is required, according to the accounting period. A flexible schedule is set for a fixed period by mutual agreement of the employee and the employer. The provision of days off under such a schedule of working hours is made in accordance with the general rules.
In cases where it is necessary to increase the permissible duration of daily working time, shift schedules are assigned to increase production volumes and improve the efficiency of the equipment used. In addition, each assigned group of employees performs the work in accordance with the shift schedule established for it. The accounting scheme for such work includes the number, alternation order, beginning, duration and end of each shift. In a continuous production process, appropriate shift schedules are used. In such cases, as a rule, four teams work, three of which work daily as part of their shifts, and one rests. Such a work schedule prohibits continuous work during two shifts. The most common order of alternating work shifts is the direct order, in which the employee moves from the first shift to the second, then to the third shift. This order corresponds to the usual rhythm of daily activity for a person.
