Prior to that, he managed to try himself as an actor and theater director, which also did not pass by the attention of spectators and professional critics. Viktor Shamirov celebrates his birthday on May 24. Born in 1966 in Rostov-on-Don. After serving, as expected, in the army, he entered the mechanics and mathematics department of Rostov University. However, the student theater gradually attracted the attention of the failed mathematician, and by the third year he realized that change was inevitable.

Saying goodbye to the institute, Shamirov for some time was in a state of uncertainty, moonlighting as a loader, then as a laboratory assistant; trying to write plays and stage performances in the youth theater, until he got a job as a simple handyman in the local Epos theater. Here he “became infected” with a theatrical atmosphere, which entered his life resolutely and inevitably.

At the age of 26, Victor, having justified his name, triumphantly entered GITIS (quite by accident, according to Shamirov himself) at the directing department, where he underwent a good school in the workshop of Mark Zakharov. Having received the diploma of a theater director, Shamirov stayed with M. Zakharov, but the first acting work was announced by him in the "School of modern play" at Reichelgauz. The role of Treplev in "The Seagull" became, in a certain sense, a rehearsal of Shamirov in the director's profession.

Then there were theatrical performances of various genres at different venues and in different cities - Viktor Shamirov preferred the status of “invited director”. And each of his performances attracted attention, causing a lot of ambiguous judgments and emotions.

For example, the production of “Masquerade” based on Lermontov’s drama at the Stanislavsky Theater aroused criticism from critics who saw it as a too obvious parody of the classics. But Don Giovanni, previously staged at the Theater of the Russian Army, or Not All Carnival for the Cat - on the stage of the Man studio, did not portend such a turn of events.

"God"

This theme was continued in the “Ancient Greek Home Performance” by Woody Allen “God”, which was decided by the Mossovet Theater. In the retelling of the Russian director Shamirov, the peculiar humor of Woody Allen takes on the character of a grotesque, becoming even crazier than the tea of ​​the same name in the fantasy of Lewis Carroll.

According to the author’s intention, the idea of ​​“God from the car”, which was characteristic of the ancient Greek theater, was reanimated in the play , when in the finale of the performance, using a special mechanical device, a character descended from the top to solve all the problems.

Woody Allen under the name of God in the world appeared inadequate, to put it mildly, a man who must die. On the one hand, it is sad, but on the other - an occasion to heartily laugh. Viktor Shamirov in this play plays the author himself, continuing to try on the role of the Creator. In this case, a crazy creator.

The film "Savages"

Despite the fact that Shamirov is positioning himself as a theater director, recently he has increasingly turned to film directing. It all started with the comedy tape "Savages", released in 2006 according to his own script.

This film is a version of a sitcom, mainly, alas, “horizontal”. All participants lie, changing their poses and surroundings from time to time. So, the main savage Ai-yay, whose role is played by Gosha Kutsenko, washes his naked figure in the sea ​​waves. Black (Vlad Galkin) methodically orgasms in the tent, Mr. (Basharov) generally barely keeps his feet, falling wherever possible.

The plot is almost invisible: it is built, as it were, from an album of holiday memories, each of which is equipped with a straightforward signature to match what is happening in the frame. And there is continuous disgrace to the accompaniment of non-malignant swearing.

And all this disgrace takes place against the backdrop of beautiful Crimean nature. Director Viktor Shamirov made a film in the area of ​​Balaclava and Fiolent - the most picturesque places of the Crimean peninsula. The film crew successfully combined work and leisure, almost merging with their characters soul and body, slowly approaching the end of the holiday season.

The people, who have completely gone wild from animal life, begin to slowly come to their senses, feeling satiety with booze, mechanical sex, and the absence of meaningful actions. It's raining, and sadness envelops the once-saturated mise-en-scene. And the piercingly sad look of Gosha Kutsenko remains like a dry residue after the sounds of a farewell song against the background of the closing credits.
