Willard Christopher "Will" Smith Jr., better known as Will Smith, was born on June 25, 1968 in Pennsylvania. From the age of 12, an ardent supporter of hip-hop, he and his friend organize a duet and begin his career as a musician, using the nickname on the stage, received at school, “The Prince”. The duo has become truly popular. Rappers receive the prestigious Grammy Music Award and release two platinum albums.
In 1990, Smith was offered a role in the series, and he is interested in cinema. By that time, his career as a musician was already ending, and films with Will Smith were becoming in demand and popular. Fame comes to him after participating in the comedy detective "Bad Guys", filmed in 1995. Immediately after him, year after year, pictures appeared on the screens, which became real blockbusters. These are films with Will Smith: “Independence Day” is a fantastic film in which the actor plays a pilot who saved the Earth from an alien invasion; "Men in Black", where he again gets the role of an agent of the special forces, working with aliens; and the political thriller Enemy of the State.
At the beginning of the 2000s, Smith, whose career continues to move rapidly upward, starred in more serious films. One of these is the drama "Ali", in which Will gets the main role. It was an excellent work, appreciated not only by film enthusiasts, but also by film critics: for his role as boxer Muhammad Ali in 2001, Smith was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor. The next films were made with Will Smith, which became sequels, the sequel to the films shot in the late 1990s: “Men in Black-2” and “Bad Guys-2”. Perhaps the producers decided to continue these projects due to their popularity, which was also obtained due to the participation of a popular actor in them. Will is not just playing, he is literally getting used to the image, erasing the boundaries between reality and action on the screen, forcing the viewer to believe everything that is happening before his eyes.
In 2004, the fantastic blockbuster "I, Robot" was released, in which Will played a policeman who uncovers a conspiracy of robots, and in 2005 he plays the exact opposite character, starring in the comedy film "Removal Rules: The Hitch Method". Next come the films, which with confidence can be called "The Best Movies of Will Smith." This is the 2006 drama “The Pursuit of Happiness,” in which Will played with his son Jaydan and the equally dramatic film “Seven Lives,” released in 2008.
Among other things, I would like to mention such great works of the actor as the fantastic post-apocalyptic film "I Am a Legend" and the fantastic picture about the superhero "Hancock", which were released in 2007 and 2008.
After a 4-year break, the audience was presented with another film in which Will Smith played. Unfortunately, the new film-continuation about the adventures of the super-agents “Men in Black-3” was not as bright as the previous franchise paintings. In 2013, viewers again saw the duet of Smith and his son, who played in the fantastic blockbuster "After our era."
