The Elusive Alice
So, the Umbrella company still exists, and the Red Queen artificial intelligence is still trying to destroy the whole world. True, not everything is lost. After all, there were people on Earth who were ready to resist the rapid spread of the T-virus. But the main burden will again fall on the shoulders of the former corporation project - a woman named Alice.
This time the events take place at one of the bases for storing Soviet submarines, located in Kamchatka. It turns out that there are experiments on the spread of the virus in four major cities in the world. Each simulation hides many dangers, so Alice wants to leave this place as soon as possible. Even the assault liberation squad was sent to her aid. But will this make it easier, given that the size of the army of monsters is much higher?
Resident Evil: Retribution: Cast
Sometimes it becomes a pity for the great and terrible corporation Umbrella, which from time to time faces an insurmountable obstacle that constantly interferes with the implementation of all its terrible plans. By the way, this time her chances are small, because Alice became the main opponent of the “Red Queen” in the film “Resident Evil: Retribution”. Milla Jovovich (“The Fifth Element”, “His Game”, “Freaks”, etc.) plays a character who is now driven not only by the self-preservation instinct, but also by the desire to protect her family.
Even the actress herself (Milla Jovovich) once said that after she became a mother, her character (Alice) became more humane, sensitive and sentimental. But in vain, because among the opponents whom she will meet in Kamchatka, there will be those with whom she used to fight side by side.
For example, on her way will be Jill Valentine, played by Sienna Gillory (“A kiss right through”, “Eragon”, “High-rise”, etc.). Moreover, this will not be a friendly meeting. They used to be good friends, and now Jill leads a squad whose task is to eliminate Alice.

But it would be much easier for the guys if they had a Las Plagas parasite in their pocket with a syringe.

We can say that in the film "Resident Evil: Retribution" the actors played only one episode. So do not cross your fingers for an interesting and intriguing story. Get ready to watch one but continuous battle scene. So what? In the fifth film, you can already afford it. Plus, this action movie can be watched even by those who are not very familiar with the main plot.
As for the action scenes, then, most likely, different people were engaged in them. Yes, everything looks spectacular when Alice and Adu Wong (Lee Bingbing) press two “Executioners” in a New York simulation or when a huge monster “Lizun” rushes about on the Moscow metro. But the acrobatic stunts performed by the main character look completely unnatural. Seeing Alice take another long jump, the imagination automatically draws a cable for her, on which, in fact, she actually makes her flights.

Okay, you can find fault with the plot and tricks as much as you like. But the film "Resident Evil: Retribution" actors got good. The staff is really serious, few will deny themselves the pleasure of looking at his work. But, unfortunately, this is the only big plus picture. Indeed, the fifth part is like an advertising break between the films of the Resident Evil series. And it remains to be hoped that a truly interesting, exciting and colorful story will follow, especially since it should be a denouement.
