Early biography
Few people in the scene today have such aristocratic manners and appearance of a nobleman of the 18th-19th centuries, such as actor Yuri Chursin. Because of this, many fans think that he is a representative of the eminent dynasty of artists (the well-known surname Chursin contributes to this).
However, in reality, Yuri comes from an ordinary military family. He achieved everything thanks to talent and hard work, and not to the connections of his parents, as many offspring of famous acting dynasties do. Meanwhile, the path to the Choffin spotlights was thorny.
The future actor was born in Priozersk in March 1980.
He received his elementary education in Khimki, where he graduated from Lyceum No. 17. Contrary to the expectations of his relatives, the talented offspring made it clear quite early that he did not want to be a military man, since he was attracted to the acting profession.
