The composition of the banana and its beneficial properties

Golden, yellow bananas have long been a familiar product of our stores. They are very tasty, they are loved by children and adults. They have a lot of useful properties that determine the composition of the banana and the energy of the tropical sun enclosed in them. Most fruits are produced in South America and North Africa. If you think that bananas grow on palm trees, then this is not entirely true. In fact, what is mistaken for a palm tree is a perennial grass masquerading as a palm tree. True, it sometimes reaches nine-meter growth, and one and a half meter clusters of bananas on it look very impressive.

But we were somewhat distracted. It will be specifically about the composition of bananas and their beneficial and nutritional properties. Carbohydrates are the main component of the fetus. Sweet, mealy flesh, with a characteristic "banana" taste and aroma, perfectly satisfies the hunger, raises the mood. As for the mood - this is the true truth! After a few bananas eaten, it really rises! The fact is that the precursors of endorphin, tryptophan and methionine, are part of the chemical composition of banana in a quite tangible amount. This is characteristic not only of the dessert bananas that we see on the shelves, but also of the so-called plantains.

Plantines are unsweetened and tough bananas that are used to prepare various food dishes and animal feed. In Africa, no housewife can do without them, well, sort of like we are without potatoes. By the way, both in our potatoes and in bananas a lot of potassium. It is necessary for the heart, skeletal muscles and nervous system. More than 300 mg of potassium per 100 g of banana mass is quite noticeable. And the heart will work better, and the nerves will calm down. In addition to potassium, banana also contains other chemical elements necessary for humans. These are phosphorus and magnesium, iron, sodium and calcium, copper and other elements.

They are necessary for building bone tissue, are involved in metabolism, in water-salt metabolism, provide heart function and blood formation. Carbohydrates in mature bananas are represented by sucrose, glucose and fructose, and in green - starch. At their expense, the fruits have a high calorie content (about 100 kilocalories per 100 g of banana pulp). This makes them a very nutritious product. Carbohydrates of ripe bananas are easily digested, which can not be said about greens. The starch contained in plantains enhances gassing in the intestines. They are eaten only after heat treatment.

The composition of the fruit includes very little protein, even less fat, fiber and various vitamins. Especially a lot of vitamin C, there is also a precursor of vitamin A carotene, vitamin PP, vitamins from group B. The nutritional value of bananas is due to the high content of carbohydrates, due to which they are very nutritious. Di- and three saccharides, which make up the bulk of carbohydrates, are quickly absorbed in the intestines and enter the bloodstream. For this reason, patients with diabetes are not recommended to eat them in large quantities in order to prevent an increase in blood sugar. Do not get carried away with bananas to overweight people, since they can add even more weight to carbohydrate foods, which are also easily digestible.

Bananas practically do not contain allergens, so they are recommended even for allergic children. Fiber bananas are useful for diseases of the intestines and stomach. It envelops the mucous membrane of the digestive organs and brings relief to patients with pain.

Fruits are very useful for cores and patients receiving diuretics that remove potassium. Magnesium, which is part of the banana, is also involved in the heart rate mechanism. Thus, these fruits are not only tasty, but also a healthy food product.
