Fluditec drug is a medicine that is used to facilitate sputum discharge (with a “wet” cough), for the treatment of bronchitis (acute) and for exacerbation of the chronic form of this disease, as well as tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, otitis media. The medicine is also used in preparing patients for bronchography, bronchoscopy and for the prevention of disorders of bronchial secretion after these studies.

The drug contains an active substance - carbocysteine. Auxiliary components: methyl parahydroxybenzoate, glycerin, colorants, sucrose, sodium hydroxide, caramel flavor, purified water.
The active substance has a high degree of absorption in the stomach, intestines. The maximum content in plasma, mucous membranes of the respiratory tract is observed three hours after administration. The medication is able to accumulate in the secretion of the bronchi in high concentrations. The drug undergoes metabolism in the liver, then is excreted by the kidneys. Complete excretion is carried out on the third day after use.
The drug has a pronounced expectorant, mucolytic effect, which is caused by the activation of the enzymes of goblet cells of the mucous membranes of the bronchi with sialic transferases. As a result, normal conditions are created for the functioning of the ciliary epithelium of the respiratory tract, mucociliary transport is fully restored. The drug significantly reduces the intensity of inflammation in the mucous membrane, normalizes its normal structure.

The drug is intended for internal use. Recommended dosage of the drug "Fluditec": 2 tablespoons three times during the day. The drug should not be taken by patients with diabetes mellitus due to its sucrose content. During pregnancy, the use of the drug is allowed as directed by a doctor. During breastfeeding, it is advisable to avoid the use of this drug. The drug does not affect the ability to drive various vehicles, dangerous machinery.
If the recommended doses are not followed, overdose symptoms occur: nausea, gastralgia, diarrhea. To eliminate these conditions, symptomatic therapy is used and the Fluditec drug is canceled. An analogue of this drug can be asked at the pharmacy.
