  • To begin with, take out all the ingredients from the refrigerator so that they reach room temperature before we start cooking from them.

  • In another container we combine all the dry ingredients, passing them through a sieve in advance. We also add milk with yeast, as well as butter.

  • We cover our dough with a towel or cling film to avoid weathering, and remove in a dark place for 1-1.5 hours.
  • We roll out the finished dough using a rolling pin and put it in a greased mold, dividing it into several parts in advance (you can also make a French shirt by covering the sides with a thin layer of flour). You can immediately use all the dough to make the grill on top, or you can freeze it until the next time.
  • We spread the layer of berry jam, create strips of dough as desired, grease the edges of the dough with whipped yolk and remove the dish in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for 30-45 minutes.

The finished cake, the jam on top of which thoroughly soaks the air dough, turns out to be just magical. It is good both in warm and chilled form.

His recipe is as follows:

  • In order to use only chilled dough in preparation, we will prepare a baking dish in advance, grease it with butter and sprinkle it with flour.
  • We roll out the dough and spread it with a flat disk on the bottom of the mold, forming rather high sides so that they hold the jam.
  • Put the jam in the next layer, and then the lattice from the dough as desired. Cover all exposed parts of the dough with whipped yolk.
  • The crumb pie with jam goes to the oven, heated to 200 degrees for 35-50 minutes until a golden and elastic crust appears on the dough. It is best to cool the finished dish, after which you can safely serve to the table with tea or coffee.
