The disinfectant "Chlormisept", the instructions for use of which are in every package, are widely used in medical institutions for cleaning chambers, corridors, doctors' offices from gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Description and composition of the substance
The disinfectant used for preventive, current and final cleaning in various public institutions. Suitable for washing children's toys, furniture in hospitals, hotels, dormitories. Used for disinfection of medical devices, cleaning equipment, plumbing equipment.
"Chlormisept", the instructions for use of which allow you to prepare special solutions with various amounts of chlorine, is characterized by antimicrobial properties. Its main substance is the dichloroisocyanuric acid sodium salt, which is highly soluble in water and negatively affects various types of microbes, including tuberculosis, viruses, and fungi. It is made in the form of tablets or granules.
The agent in question belongs to the third class of hazardous substances when it enters the stomach and to the fourth class of low-hazard components in contact with skin.
"Chlormisept": instructions for use
Working solutions with various percentage of chlorine are prepared from an antimicrobial agent. Tablets or granules are diluted with tap water in any container: enamel, glass, plastic.
To prepare a 0.015% solution, you need 1/2 tablet per 10/20 liters of liquid, respectively. The more substances used, the richer the solution with Chlormisept (tablets). Tablets are used to wash not only various surfaces, but are also suitable for washing clothes, cleaning tableware and laboratory glassware.
Precautions
The agent in question is characterized by a low level of danger. Nevertheless, when working with it, the following precautions must be taken into account:
- it is not recommended to come into contact with this substance to people prone to allergic reactions, respiratory diseases;
- it is necessary to protect the skin with gloves;
- in the process of preparing the liquid, the container with it should be tightly closed;
- when using a 0.015% solution, cleaning can be carried out in the presence of other people, without protecting the eyes and respiratory tract;
- after applying the product, it is recommended to do wet cleaning and ventilate the room, room;
- it is necessary to store the substance in well-ventilated areas, away from food, medicine and children.
Thus, for public institutions, it is recommended to use Chlormisept as a disinfectant. Instructions for use of the substance describe the preparation of working solutions with the required percentage of chlorine.
