How to cook trout: pan-fried fish with mushroom sauce

Not all housewives know how to cook such fish as trout. Fried in a pan, it turns out too oily. But if you use a small amount of olive oil and aromatic sauce, this dish can serve as an ideal dinner.

Essential Ingredients:

  • medium-sized rainbow trout - 4 pcs;
  • olive oil - 65 ml;
  • butter - 65 g;
  • non-fat cream 10% (plain milk can be) - 310 ml;
  • ripe lemon - ½ fruit;
  • parsley and dill - in a bunch;
  • iodized salt - 1.5 dessert spoons;
  • wheat flour - 3-4 large spoons;
  • allspice red - optional.

Before you start cooking, you should purchase fresh or frozen trout. Fried in a pan, it turns out more juicy and tasty, if previously cut into small steaks. However, before this, the fish needs to be washed well, get rid of the insides, head, fins and tail. Next, the chopped product must be coated on all sides with iodized salt and red allspice, and then left aside for a couple of hours.

To create a dressing, you need to take a stewpan, put butter there, melt it, and then pour in all the chopped mushrooms. Fry them for about 7 minutes. After that, freshly squeezed lemon juice, iodized salt, wheat flour (1 large spoon) pepper and low-fat cream are required to be added to the mushrooms. After mixing the ingredients together, they must be brought to a boil, and then immediately removed from the stove.

Thus, salted and peppered pieces of fish should be rolled in wheat flour, and then put in a hot pan with a small amount of olive oil. After the lower part of the product is browned (8-10 minutes), it must immediately be turned over with the spatula to the other side. The readiness of the fish can be determined by section: if its cross section is uniform light pink in color, then it can be safely laid out on portioned plates.

How to serve to the table

Before presenting such a dinner to family members, you should slightly warm the mushroom sauce, and then pour over the previously cooked trout.
