To prepare this dish you will need the following products:

  • 300 g long grain rice;
  • 200 g sausages (preferably semi-smoked);
  • 1 onion;
  • one carrot;
  • 100 g canned corn;
  • 30 ml of sunflower oil;
  • to taste, salt.

  • Peel the onion from the husk, wash, cut. Spread on a well-heated pan with poured vegetable oil.
  • Peel the carrots, rinse under water, and then rub on a coarse grater.

  • Canned corn is spread in vegetables. But before adding it, you need to drain the whole marinade so that liquid from the jar does not get into the dish.
  • To the resulting vegetable mixture, pre-sorted and well-washed rice is poured. It is desirable to fill it with boiled water. If you use cold for cooking, the result will be quite viscous rice porridge.

If this dish is being prepared for the first time, it is recommended that you follow the exact proportions of the recipe. The next time, when the taste is already familiar, at will, you can change the number of ingredients: some add less, others more. Someone likes it more when there is a lot of cabbage in the dish, and someone prefers sausages or rice.

At your discretion, you can replace the tomato paste with a few ripe tomatoes. In summer or autumn, it would be great to add bell peppers. Experienced housewives often bake white bread, which perfectly complements this tasty and healthy dish.

What is needed for cooking

First, prepare the products. For rice with sausages and cabbage, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 300 g of any sausages or cooked sausage;
  • 2 tbsp. l tomato paste;
  • 1 cup round white rice;
  • half the head of medium cabbage;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 0.5 tsp ground black pepper;
  • a pair of bay leaves;
  • 1 tsp hops-suneli (seasonings);
  • 5 tbsp. l oils;
  • 1 tsp Sahara;
  • to taste, salt.

Cooking rice with sausages in a slow cooker. Initially peeled onions and carrots, cut into small cubes. Heat vegetable oil in a special container (β€œBaking” mode). Then vegetables are fried for 15 minutes, stirring them constantly.

Rice is washed under running cold water until the water is clear. Add it to the cooked roast. All products are thoroughly mixed, after a couple of minutes pour hot water (about 2.5 cups) and add salt. Then cook for 20 minutes in the "Extinguishing".

Chop cabbage finely chopped or cut into large pieces. It is laid out for rice when it is ready. It is not necessary to mix the dish, it is just slightly pressed. Salt, add pepper and seasoning hops-suneli.

Dilute tomato paste with water (120-130 ml) and one spoonful of sugar. Stir and evenly pour the mixture with cabbage.

The next layer lay the chopped sausages. Then lay the bay leaf and continue to cook for 20-25 minutes in the "Extinguishing" mode. After cooking, the bay leaf must be removed.

  1. Be sure to rinse the rice with cold water until the water becomes clear.
