The film "Locust", in which the actors starred very promising, was released in 2015. His premiere was accompanied by a flair of novelty: erotic thrillers until that moment our directors did not dare to remove. However, “Locust” is a film project in this particular genre fresh for domestic cinema. In May 2015, the picture was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.
Plot
Locust is a movie with an exciting plot. At the center of history is an all-consuming and passionate feeling. Artyom and Lera are completely different, like opposite poles. By chance, the daughter of wealthy parents, accustomed to not denying anything to themselves, and an ordinary guy from the outskirts, moonlighting as a builder. But the suddenly flashed love between them, so different, will never fade away. Lera is forced to marry on a calculation to save her father from a debt hole. But their mutual attraction with Artyom does not weaken even after years. The guy is ready for his beloved for everything, even for a crime.
Main duet
The image of lovers eager for the presence of each other was embodied by Paulina Andreeva and Peter Fedorov. For Pauline, whose name is now widely known, the picture was the first experience of the main role. Now the actress is already snapped up by the directors. She starred in the popular TV series Method and Thaw. Soon two more serial films with her participation should go on the air: Sleeping and Better Than People. The beauty attracts the attention of the public not only with a fruitful career, but also with an affair with the director Fedor Bondarchuk. Bondarchuk is truly fascinated by Paulina, and a wedding of stars is due to take place soon.
Peter Fedorov had already managed to star in major films such as Inhabited Island, Stalingrad, Yolki-2. On the set of the film "Locust", the actors were forced to play in many frank scenes - not surprising, because the genre of the picture was designated as an "erotic thriller." Andreeva admitted that acting in such episodes was incredibly difficult, but the director Yegor Baranov managed to create the necessary and delicate atmosphere. The actors convincingly managed to portray a fatal passion. The viewer is imbued with their fiery feeling and watches with interest the shocking plot twists.
Other personalities
In the film "Locust", the other actors are also not amateurs. Dmitry Shevchenko played the rich husband of Lera, and Ekaterina Volkova realistically portrayed Artyom's prosperous wife, Natalia, whom he would marry from hopelessness. Natalia drowns loneliness in alcohol, realizing that her husband can not forget Leroux. In the episodic role of a friend of Artyom, you can see Evgeny Stychkin. Evgeny Dmitriev, Maxim Pinsker and Alexey Gorbunov appeared in this movie. In the film "Locust", the actors all without exception played quite realistically.
The project was produced by Konstantin Ernst and Alexander Tsekalo, who repeatedly received TEFI for organizing and financing successful projects. It is noteworthy that later on Channel One, a more voluminous version of this burning story was shown as a mini-series of four episodes. The action is accompanied by the enchanting music of talented composers: Oleg Chubykin and Alexei Aigi.
