Plot
Nine years have passed since the end of the previous film. Alejandro de la Vega is married to Helena, he has a son Joaquin. The state of California votes to join the United States, but an armed criminal named Jacob McGuvens disrupts the ballot and steals a ballot box. Trying to stop him, Alejandro loses his mask during the chase. Two detectives from the Pinkerton Agency recognize Zorro's true identity. They decide to use Alejandro's oversight for their own ends. Using blackmail, they force Elena to divorce her husband and fulfill their requirements.
Three months pass. Alejandro lives in a city hotel, never knowing why Elena left him. All this time Zorro was not in need of services, and Alejandro, who was exhausted from boredom and idleness, drinks a lot. In order to distract Zorro for a while, the priest Felipe, his longtime friend, offers to go to an appointment with Count Arman, who has recently arrived from Europe. There Alejandro finds out that Helena is dating Arman. This becomes a serious blow for him.
But the count, the new chosen one of Elena, is not as open and honest as it seems. He enters the Order of the Knights of Aragon, who wants to crush the United States with powerful weapons. A series of mysterious and terrible events helps Alejandro reveal Arman's plans. Only Zorro can resist the omnipotent order, save the country from irreversible collapse and return the beloved woman.
