You can cook meat in pots with potatoes in different ways. Let's start with what kind of meat you want to use.
For a dish in meat pots, both chicken and beef or pork go well. If you want, you can use offal or liver. One pot usually takes about 300 or 350 grams of meat. Approximate calculation of products:
2-3 potatoes;
1 carrot;
1-2 bulbs;
1-3 heads of garlic, optional;

The meat should be cut into pieces and fry with spices until half cooked. There is an easier option for the stomach: first cook the meat, and then cut into pieces. The broth that you got after this process should be left, we still need it.
Vegetables
Fry carrots and onions together, you can add turmeric, then you get a beautiful golden color. Potatoes should not be cooked, but if you want, you can also fry it. For my taste, it is better to put it raw, then it is well soaked in meat juice.
Clay pot preparation
It is better to keep the pots in advance in the water for about 15 minutes so that the clay absorbs a little liquid. So the dish will be more tender. We do not preheat the oven in advance so as not to damage it due to a sharp temperature drop in the pots. Instead of soaking, you can lay baking paper inside the pot , then the clay will not absorb the smell and taste of the meat.
Putting it all together. First, put the meat and squeeze the garlic on it. Then add the fried onions with carrots and pour on top the potatoes that were previously cut into cubes. Do not top up the ingredients to the top. Leave at least a couple of centimeters for air. Pour a quarter cup of broth, or boiled water with spices. Instead of water, you can use a piece of butter, somewhere around 50 grams. Pour it all with mayonnaise or sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
Close and put in a cold oven. Set the temperature to about 200 degrees and leave to cook for an hour and 20 minutes.
For gourmets and those who like combinations of red wine and meat, I advise you to add a quarter glass of wine to the pot instead of the broth. Then the meat will be much tastier.
There is still a good variation of this recipe: soy meat in pots with potatoes. Especially for those who follow their diet, but love tasty things. The calculation of products is the same.
The main thing to remember is that soy is not meat and its taste very much depends on the spices that you added. And there will be no animal fat, so you can add either mushrooms or butter. But for people on a diet, I advise you to use a vegetable broth, for example, beetroot or potato. Naturally, you can also bake beets in a pot.
Soybeans must be boiled in salted water with spices for about 15-20 minutes. We clean the potato and dice mode. Turn the onions into rings, and grate the carrots coarsely. Cut into pieces and fry along with onions, carrots and potatoes, until the potatoes are half ready. Pour the whole mixture into a pot, add a little water or broth, pour mayonnaise and sprinkle cheese on top. Keep in the oven for 40 minutes or an hour. In soy meat in pots with potatoes, you can add canned peas or corn.
I’ll also reveal a little secret when cooking soy. When you fry it, add a couple of tablespoons of dark soy sauce, this will give the necessary aroma and taste. Soy sauce can also be added to the pot.
