Sergeyeva Galina and her 7 roles on the Soviet big screen

The Soviet actress Sergeyeva Galina played in the first domestic films from the best examples of silent cinema. And now her roles remain the benchmark for young actors not only on the domestic big screen, but also on the stage.

Talent and good acting school

In the frame and on the stage of the theater, Sergeeva Galina pleased the directors, colleagues and the audience with an undeniable talent. The girl was first entrusted to play a role in front of the public when she was only 16 years old. And she was accepted into an adult team. It is unlikely that at such a young age, Galina Sergeeva, an actress whose biography soon after her debut was replenished with high-profile roles, would be able to adequately “accompany” experienced colleagues without great talent.

She will supplement her giftedness with a brilliant education. The girl honed her acting skills with the best teachers in one of the most prestigious universities at that time. And a little later, Galina will be able to rely on her experience. And with such qualities, a native of the outback of Moscow Region will become a good “tool” in the hands of talented Soviet directors.

Grand Master Sergeeva Galya

Colleagues on the set and stage recognized her as a great professional. Sergeyeva Galina was well known for her diverse heroines. Through her lips, the characters of theatrical productions repeatedly “plucked a standing ovation” from the public on the theater stage, and she was also entrusted with playing several roles for the movie. In the frame, Galina left behind a much smaller “trace” and accumulated a small track record of only 7 tapes. But even there her work replenished the classics of domestic cinema.

Sergeeva Galina

In the frame of Sergeyev, Galina also debuted quite early and first appeared on the screen when she was only 20 years old. Surprisingly, at that time a young girl already had decent experience in playing in the theater.

Sergeeva took part in the birth of cinema and found still silent cinema, it was in such tapes that she was entrusted with making her debut on the screen. And the directors could rely on her high skill on a par with older colleagues.

short biography

Sergeyeva Galina, an actress from the very “origins” of the Soviet theater and cinema, was born even before the revolution - in 1914. Her small homeland was the village of Nizhny Kotly (now this territory is part of Moscow). At the age of 16, a gifted girl is admitted to the Studio Theater under the direction of Simonov, with this team in the capital she will work for almost 9 years. After that, Sergeyev will be replaced by the theater 3 more times and “live” on the stage a successful acting career. All this time did not change the place of residence.

Galina in the role

Also 7 times will receive an invitation to play a movie from the best Soviet directors. Sergeyeva Galina is not one of the actresses who “fanatically” played roles all her life, including her old age. At some point, she stopped performing in the theater. And in the frame, the woman starred for the last time back in 1942 during the war.

The great actress, who was born in 1914, lived long enough and saw the “collapse” of her former homeland. The woman died in 2000, when she was already 86 years old.

Career Sergeeva

Galina in due time will receive a cinematic education and will prepare to play roles in the frame. The girl entered the VGIK (All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography named after Gerasimov). There she will go through a good school, but in the end she will not play many roles in films. A full list of roles for her fits only 7 points:
