There is a belief that diathesis in adults is extremely rare and occurs, in the vast majority of cases, exclusively in children. However, this is not so. Diathesis in adults is not less common than in children, just very many do not know that they have diathesis. The fact is that directly diathesis itself is not considered a separate disease. It expresses a predisposition to any disease and is, first of all, a consequence of this disease. Therefore, when diathesis occurs in adults, it is necessary to identify the cause of the disease as soon as possible, and then it will be much easier to deal with diathesis. With untimely treatment, various kinds of complications can arise, which are often more difficult to cope with than with the disease itself.
Diathesis in adults manifests itself as an abnormal phenomenon in the human body. As a result of such an anomaly, a variety of diseases arise. For example, diathesis can occur due to an increased sensitivity of the body to ordinary stimuli, often accompanying us in everyday life. In a healthy person, the body does not react to such stimuli at all, just does not notice them. Very often, diathesis in an adult is formed as a result of stress and manifests itself in the form of rashes in various areas of the skin and is accompanied by a specific severe itching. This is the main reason for the manifestation of diathesis. If the factors causing diathesis appear in a timely manner, then all the rashes and itching will disappear without a trace.
As mentioned earlier, one of the main causes of the appearance and development of diathesis in adults is severe stress or nervous strain. The nature and intensity of the stressful situation directly affects the severity of this manifestation. With the onset of a calm, normal state, normalization of all body systems occurs, which allows you to cope with diathesis without the use of any pharmaceutical agents. If stress intensifies, then, accordingly, there is an increase in rashes and itching.
Diathesis in an adult is also manifested as a result of a hereditary predisposition, which manifests itself precisely in adulthood. The reason may be the diet, starting from an early age. If from the very beginning of life there was an unhealthy diet, then it may well become the cause of diathesis in adulthood.
In an adult, there are three main types of diathesis:
- hypersthenic diathesis, the symptoms of which are manifested in an exaggeration of all life processes: excessive excitation of the nervous system, increased pressure, excessively increased body weight;
- signs of asthenic diathesis are expressed in all kinds of lowering and decreasing. Pressure, weight decreases, thinness and apathy ensue, loss of appetite, sleep disturbance is observed;
- Allergic diathesis, first of all, indicates the development of some allergic reactions.
With proper treatment of diathesis, it is quite possible to cure it and eliminate unpleasant symptoms. At the first suspicion of the presence of diathesis, it is necessary to visit an allergist. The main treatment is an individual diet and anti-allergenic drugs. Recently, biologically active additives have been used more and more often that help an adult to get rid of diathesis very quickly and strengthen the body's immunity. From the way the disease proceeds, the course of treatment can be complex, using a wide range of medical devices. Timely treatment started will allow an adult to completely overcome this unpleasant disease.
