The actors of the film “Beyond the End”, released in 1991, were known throughout the Soviet Union. Perhaps that is why viewers were so eagerly awaiting the appearance on the screens of the action movie, which became one of the first films of this genre in post-Soviet Russia. How was the film made and what happened to the actors after its premiere?
“Beyond the End” - actors and roles: Evgeny Sidikhin
The crime drama “Beyond the End”, directed by Nikolai Istanbul, gave a ticket to the acting life of Eugene Sidikhin. After the premiere of the film, the performer of the role of boxer Dremov became very popular and turned into a star of Russian militants.
The well-known actors at that time were selected in the project of Istanbul. “Beyond the End” was the debut for Sidikhin, but he held on confidently. If only because he was a five-time
freestyle wrestling champion, Afghanistan passed - to whom, if not Sidikhin, to act in action films?
On the set, Eugene made friends with Igor Talkov, who once told the actor that he was literally created for such roles. The directors also noticed this: after the picture “Beyond the End”, Yevgeny Sidikhin began to receive 4-5 roles a year, mainly in detectives, crime films and action films.
One of the actor’s latest film works is the role in the historical melodrama of 2015 “Family Album”, in which, in addition to Sidikhin, cinema stars such as Igor Sklyar, Daniil Strakhov and Tatyana Cherkasova were involved .
Actors “Beyond the End”: Igor Talkov
A mystical story is associated with the participation of Igor Talkov in this film. Talkov in the film “Beyond the End” got the role of a negative character - the leader of the gang Garik. It is he who, having chosen a difficult moment in the life of the main character (boxer Dremov), is trying to firmly attach him to the criminal world, and when he refuses to follow orders, he substitutes the athlete and surrenders to the police.
Sidikhin and Talkov found, unlike their on-screen heroes, a common language at once: the actors became friends. “Beyond the last line,” however, ends with the hero Yevgeny Sidikhin shooting Talcov’s character in the chest. The shooting took place on October 6, 1990. Exactly a year later, Igor Talkov got a bullet in the chest in real life during his concert in St. Petersburg.
No one can explain such a combination of circumstances. The killers of the famous singer and poet were never found. The filmography of Talkov has only three films, in one of which he played the role of himself - a cameo.
Victor Stepantsev as Starodubtsev
Great experience behind many actors who starred in the film. “Beyond the End”, for example, became the eighteenth film for the artist Victor Stepantsev.
Due to his characteristic appearance (the actor has “heavy”, “severe” facial features) Stepantsev played in the movie the roles of mostly negative characters. However, in the picture of Istanbul, he got the image of the trainer Starodubtsev, who was once a sports mentor of the protagonist.
By that time, spectators knew Viktor Stepantsev very well from the main role played in the biographical film Mikhailo Lomonosov. For this film work, the actor back in 1987 was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR.
In the 90s, Stepantsev, like Sidikhin, “retrained” as a fighter star: he played roles in such famous films as “Operation Lucifer”, “Russian Transit”, “Wolf Blood”, “Schizophrenia”, etc. .
Alexander Kazakov as captain Kostikov
The film “Beyond the Bottom Line” (1991), in which the actors sought to show the difficult atmosphere of the 90s, was warmly received by the audience and quite consistent with the spirit of the times. The role of police captain Kostikov, who is trying to help boxer Dremov to break all ties with bandits, was played by Alexander Kazakov. His character is killed in the middle of the film.
Kazakov was an actor, director and screenwriter at the same time. As a director, Alexander Ivanovich made only three films: the fighters "Master of the East", "Screw" and the drama series "Special Purpose Prison". As an actor, he played significantly more roles. He was made famous in Soviet times by the main roles played in the military films “Wormwood - Bitter Grass” and “Exam for Immortality”.
The roles of the police and military went to the actor in the 90s: in the films “Beyond the End”, “Spirit Gorge” and “Wolf Blood”.
In recent years, Kazakov has acted more and more in episodes or played supporting roles: he can be seen in the series “Saboteur. The end of the war ",

Tatyana Lyutaeva in the role of Irina
“Beyond the Bottom Line” is a film in which Tatyana Lyutaeva, the “Gardemarinov” star, took part.
Lutaeva made her film debut back in 1987 as Princess Anastasia Yaguzhinsky with director Svetlana Druzhinina. After that, Lutaeva continued to act in films, however, after a series of films about midshipmen, the actress almost did not offer the main roles.
In the criminal action movie Beyond the End, Tatyana Lutaeva got the role of the ex-wife of boxer Demin, that is, the supporting role. Her next more or less notable works were filming in the films “Seven Days After the Murder”, “Above Dark Water”, “Black Square” and “Letters to a Past Life”.
Soon, the actress migrated to Lithuania after her husband Olegas Ditkovskis. Until 2003, Lutaeva lived in Vilnius and played in the Russian Drama Theater.
Since the 2000s, Lutaeva has only played supporting roles, mainly in television series. She can be seen in such television projects as “Son for father”, “Dream like life”, “Zemsky doctor. Love contrary. ”
