After the death of the father and mother, the little girl moves to the housing of her aunt Polly - a tough, closed woman living, or rather existing, according to a carefully verified routine. Polly does not take care of her niece because of her kindred feelings, but because of “so accepted”, because this is her duty. People living in the village where it happened to be a girl are sad and obese.
Plot development
In a short time, Pollyanna, due to her own injustice and striking immediacy, revives not only her aunt's housing, but also the town. The girl’s dad taught her to find pleasure in life’s moments, and the girl plays this peculiar game on her own and teaches others how to play.
Thanks to her openness, kindness, and gullible disposition, the girl gains common love, especially from Mr. Pendleton, a scum who lives as a hermit in his own home.
Everyday squabbles between people, groundless resentments and manifestations of pride are nullified by a little girl with freckles, who managed to bring positive emotions to the relationships of the characters that they held back inside themselves.

Judging by the reviews of the movie "Pollyanna", at first glance it seems that this is an ordinary children's fairy tale about kindness, but even adults can learn from the girl. It is unlikely that any of the audience did not meet with characteristic characters in real life.
