Cooking potatoes in pots is possible in any season. But the tastiest thing is this dish is obtained in autumn and winter. And this is not at all surprising. Autumn is the ripening time of tubers and fresh seasonal vegetables. Winter is a time of cold weather, and potatoes in portioned pots are good when they are eaten directly from the oven. We prepare products:

  • Potatoes - 7 pieces.
  • Any minced meat - 300-500 grams.
  • Carrot - 1 piece.
  • 2 onions.
  • Laurel leaf - 2-4 pieces.
  • Garlic to taste.
  • About 1 liter of water.
  • 2 bouillon cubes (with your favorite flavor).
  • Lean oil (we will fry vegetables on it).
  • Various green herbs to taste.

  1. We clean our potato tubers. It is better to take a potato of small size (4-5 cm in diameter).
  2. Onion cut into half rings. If you do not really like onions in food, then you can cut into small pieces. Pour it into a frying pan with oil.
  3. Peel the carrots, rub and send to the onion. Let the vegetables be fried until golden onions.
  4. The next step is to fill the pots with potatoes. We do not cut the tubers, but use the whole. Fill the potato pot into 2/3 parts.
  5. From minced meat, you need to mold balls similar to meatballs. Determine the size of the products yourself, depending on preference. But remember that very large meatballs are best not to do.

Recipes can be changed depending on which meat you prefer. For example, instead of fatty pork, take lamb, and replace chicken with turkey.

With pork

For 1 kilogram of pork you need to take about a kilogram of potato tubers, 2 large onions and carrots (also 2 pieces). Tomato paste you need to take 1 dessert spoon. Vegetable oil, pepper and salt to taste.

The technology of cooking potatoes in pots with pork meat:

  1. Chop onions and carrots. Cut the onion into slices, and grate the carrots.
  2. Fry vegetables over medium heat until they turn golden onion.
  3. Peel potatoes into medium-sized cubes.
  4. Free meat from excess: films, lard, tendons. Then fry it with the addition of vegetable oil, previously chopped into small pieces.
  5. Now the time has come to put the meat and other products in pots. The sequence is as follows: a layer of fried meat, then potato cubes and bay leaves. On top lay the sautéed carrots with onions.
  6. Add 1/4 dessert spoon of tomato paste (if desired, you can replace it with ketchup). Add spices for flavor and finally fill the pots with boiled water. Do not forget about salt.
  7. Now you need to cover the pots with lids and place in a cold oven. As soon as it warms up to the desired temperature, we begin the countdown of the cooking time. After 40-50 minutes, you can turn off the oven and try a fragrant dish. Optionally, add greens.

Delicious and aromatic, tender and most beloved potatoes will turn out exactly according to this recipe. We have to:

  • Chicken - about a pound of pulp (breast, chicken legs).
  • Potato - about a kilogram.
  • Champignons - 250-400 grams. Mushrooms can be taken frozen, fresh or canned - optional.
  • 2 onions.
  • Hard cheese - 150-200 grams.
  • 200 grams of sour cream (or sour cream).
  • Lean oil.
  • Boiled water.
  • Salt.

Cooking method

  1. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  2. Mushrooms, if raw, process and rinse.
  3. Fry the meat until a crispy appetizing crust in a pan with the addition of vegetable oil. Now you need to put it out of the pan into pots. Leave the oil - it will come in handy.
  4. Prepare mushrooms by slicing and fry in vegetable oil left over from cooking meat. With mushrooms, you need to fry onion half rings. Do not forget to salt the prepared ingredients.
  5. Now the mushrooms go in a second layer after the meat in a pot.
  6. After cleaning, turn the potatoes into small cubes and send to the mushroom layer. At this stage of cooking potatoes, ground pepper can be added to the pot.
  7. Distribute sour cream in pots in equal parts and fill their contents with water. Water should cover vegetables and meat.
  8. It was the turn of cheese. Grind it with a grater and pour cheese chips over sour cream.
  9. Cover each pot with a lid (if there are no lids, use foil). Place the potted leaf in the oven.
  10. At 200 degrees, potatoes in pots will be ready in about an hour. When the set time has passed, the lids or foil must be removed and the pots left in the disconnected oven for about 15 minutes. After a specified period of time, a delicious cheese crust will appear in each of them.
