Alexander Bezrukov is a Russian theater and film actor, Honored Artist of Russia. Actor of the Drama Theater at the Foundry. Winner of the Golden Spotlight Theater Award.
Alexander Bezrukov: biography, student work
He was born on May 4 in 1972 in Leningrad. As a child, he was a charismatic and funny guy. In school years he played various sketches and sketches, was "the best class reader." Annually took part in city olympiads in literature and art, where he occupied high prizes.
He studied at the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts. In 2001 he graduated and became an Honored Artist of Russia. By the way, he studied at the courses of the famous theater teacher Grigory Mikhailovich Kozlov. During his studies, Alexander performed in several student performances:
- He played the role of Federico Calandrino in the short story by Giovanni Bocaccio "The Decameron".
- The role of Belevich in the play by Nikolai Erdman, “Suicide”.
- The father of the Montecchi and Capulet family in the legendary tragedy of William Shakespeare "Romeo and Juliet."
- The main role in "The Tale of Tsar Saltan" (A. S. Pushkin).
Performances at the Liteiny Theater
After graduating from the Theater Academy, Alexander Bezrukov began performing at the Drama Theater at the Liteiny. The debut experience on the professional stage began with a female role: the aspiring actor was in the image of Miss Jackson, the English governess Lisa of Murom in the novel “The Young Lady-Peasant” by Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin. By the way, Alexander Bezrukov coped well with his role as the prim and prejudiced Miss Jackson. Many critics and theater directors enthusiastically recall this production.
Further Bezrukov was honored to play the laconic, but prominent and respected Dr. Ustimovich in the Chekhov production of “Duel”. In general, Alexander Bezrukov played several dozen worthy roles in the Liteiny Theater:
- Baby Moyshu in a production based on the novel by Romain Gary, "All life is ahead."
- Count Hubert de Breville in a play based on the French short story Guy de Maupassant's The Bun.

In addition to the above roles, Alexander Bezrukov took part in some children's performances. Here he played the role of a white clown based on the work of the Swedish writer Astrid Lindgred “Peppy Long Stocking”, the Marquis of Padetroix in the West European fairy tale by Eugene Schwartz “Cinderella”, an important resident of the Stoakrovy Les - the rabbit from the fairy tale “Winnie the Pooh”, as well as the role of Pinocchio from the same fairy tale Alexei Nikolaevich Tolstoy.

At the same time, while working on Liteiny, Alexander continued to collaborate with the studio of Grigory Mikhailovich Kozlov. Here he distinguished himself with the phenomenally played role of the Rooster in the play “A Very Simple Story”, for which he was awarded the Golden Spotlights nomination for the St. Petersburg Higher Theater Award. Creative experience in the cinema
Bezrukov received his first cinema experience in 2001, when he played the role of Judas in Dmitry Frolov's film “Grandmother's Apocrypha”. The debut in cinema turned out to be quite successful, so in the future, new invitations to the cinema began to come to the actor. The second experience was marked by the role of Rimas in the mini-series "Agency NLS-2" from the director Dmitry Parmenov.
In 2005, Alexander Bezrukov played the role of Piast in the melodrama directed by Alexander Rogozhkin, "His Alien Life." In 2007, he played a minor role in the film "Simple Things" - was an antique dealer. A year later, he was in the form of Godard in the detective series Solo for a Pistol and Orchestra. In the same year (2008), Bezrukov received his first major film role: he played Seliverstov in the film "Twilight" from the director Vladimir Moss.
Currently, the actor continues to work in the theater, and also occasionally acts in films. In 2014, he starred in the film by A. S. Rudnitskaya under the title “Blind Movie”.
