As for the form of release, at present, this medicine is produced in three forms at once - in the form of ointments, tablets and shampoo. The composition of all these funds as a main element includes ketoconazole. In this case, both in tablets, and in ointment, and in shampoo, it is contained in a volume of two hundred micrograms.
To use the drug "Mikozoral" the instruction recommends in order to eliminate a variety of fungal infections provoked by pathogens sensitive to ketoconazole. For example, doctors quite often prescribe this fungicidal agent for
dermatomycosis of smooth skin, pityriasis versicolor and candidiasis of the skin. People with

Inguinal epidermophytosis is also an indication for prescribing the mentioned drug with a pronounced mycostatic effect. Among other things, the use of the drug "Mikozoral" the instruction advises with folliculitis and systemic mycosis. As for shampoo, it is most often prescribed to people suffering from
seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff or pityriasis versicolor. Also included in the list of indications are hair mycoses and the so-called mold mycoses. In addition to all of the above, it should be noted the positive results of the use of the drug "Mycozoral" in order to prevent fungal infections in people with an increased risk of their occurrence.
The manufacturer categorically prohibits prescribing this mycostatic agent to patients with individual intolerance to ketoconazole or increased sensitivity to any of the auxiliary components contained in the composition. Pregnant women also should not use the drug "Mycozoral". Its use is strictly contraindicated during lactation.
If we talk about side effects, the appearance of which provokes the use of this synthetic agent, then for a start it is necessary to highlight various kinds of allergic reactions. For example, quite often, patients complain of a skin rash and hives. In addition, a burning sensation and itching may be observed. And as a result of using Mikozoral shampoo, hair loss may begin, their dryness or, on the contrary, increased fat content may be noted.
