The complex includes hemophilic and Escherichia coli, morgana, including streptococci, Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Ancillary ingredients are carbopore extract and calendula.
Indications for use
The instruction of the drug indicates the treatment of ailments associated with the field of otolaryngology. The main indications are the following cases:
- cleansing the auricles and nose during an exacerbation of epidemics, during a period of climate change, as well as with an increased risk of infection with bactericidal diseases;
- for the prevention of diseases after surgical or diagnostic operations;
- prevention of purulent and fungal diseases, including otitis media;
- as a prophylactic for tonsillitis, sinusitis and sinusitis;
- for the treatment of other diseases in the field of otolaryngology.
The gel with bacteriophages "Otofag" can be combined with antibiotics and other means.
Contraindications
Manufacturers claim that the drug has no restrictions on the use, so it can be used during the period of bearing a child and breastfeeding. However, the risk of allergic reactions still exists, since the body may be susceptible to its components. Otherwise, the drug must be replaced with a similar action.
Dosage and administration
- At home, a small part of the product is applied to the treated area with a cotton swab or napkin. After the gel is forbidden to rinse for 40 minutes.
- If treatment occurs at a medical center, Otofag is applied to affected areas or injured areas of the ears and other ENT organs.
The tool is absolutely safe when it gets on the mucous membranes and when swallowed. However, it is forbidden to apply to closed areas of inflammation, which do not have a good blood outflow. Otherwise, it may lead to a lymphostat.
Otofag is allowed to be used from the first days of life to old age, but manufacturers recommend consulting a specialist before use.
