Long past carefree childhood. With demonstrations on revolutionary holidays, with the expectation of the New Year - because gifts and tangerines ... and this indescribable smell of needles. In the past, compulsory trips to grandparents for family celebrations, when on such an occasion there were amazing delicacies: eggplant caviar and cervelat.
But there was nostalgia from that time precisely for those amazing delicacies with which no modern assortment can be compared.
Chocolate sausage recipe passed on to all relatives. But only with her grandmother she turned out to be very special. And she knew how to bake "kokuriki" - such fresh thick biscuits on sour cream.
Of course, everyone has his own recipe for chocolate sausages. Here is the father, a lover of experimentation, which he did not add there.
The sweet sausage with chocolate resembled a cervelat both in appearance and in anticipation of pleasure. If you want to make a holiday for children, then a
sweet sausage, the preparation of which is very simple, this is exactly what you need.
So, cocoa, chocolate (soft pralines can be used) and cookies are taken as the basis. Shortcake is best, but not too fat. You can crumble and biscuit. Next, you need to consider how to bind the whole mass so that it forms a single whole. The recipe for chocolate sausages of ancient times involved the use of raw eggs: someone recommends one protein, someone - along with the yolk. But here you need to remember, firstly, that such a sausage will not be stored for long. Secondly, you need to take proven eggs and at least wash them well.
You can do otherwise: take condensed milk for binding. Or egg powder. The main thing is that the recipe for chocolate sausages implies freedom of choice. In the one that my grandmother was preparing, there were cookies, walnuts (finely crushed), cocoa, butter. Someone likes to add cinnamon. Someone is lemon or orange zest. After we mix everything until a homogeneous dough (it should be fairly dense, but also elastic) in a water bath, we form a roll sausage on the foil. Then put the bundle in the freezer.
After 8-10 hours, you can try the sausage. It looks very beautiful, cut into thin slices, with ice cream or fruit. But more often than not, such a dessert does not stale. We have a
chocolate sausage, the preparation of which took only half an hour, was kneading before the guests arrived.
So, the main ingredients: cookies (preferably hard, shortbread or biscuit) - 400 g, walnuts (marmalade) - 50-70 g, butter - 1 pack (200 g), cocoa powder - 3-4 tablespoons (tablespoons) sugar - 3 tbsp. tablespoons, cognac or liquor (previously vodka was often added, now you can treat yourself with more refined flavors) - 1-2 tbsp. spoons, milk - 4 tbsp. spoons. Grinding everything, mixing it into a homogeneous mass, you need to bring it to a boil. Then cool and form a sausage from the cooled mass. As you can see, the use of eggs is not supposed here. But the recipe for chocolate sausages allows any improvisation, the main thing is that the products are fresh. Do not forget to add a pinch of salt, as well as seasoning to taste (maybe vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom). If there is no foil at hand, you can wrap the roll in a plastic bag. Sometimes icing is still made for her, but even without it, the recipe for chocolate sausages will allow us to enjoy such a taste familiar from childhood.
