Then his wife Constance began to lean on alcohol and completely stopped watching Tate.

As soon as the Harmontians appeared in the ill-fated house, the head of the Ben family became Tate's psychologist. Ben does not know that Tate Langdon is not a man, but a ghost, since the Harmontians are able to touch the guy because they are the new owners of the house. Ben tried to get to the bottom and cure the hero’s psychological trauma. Tate told how often bad fantasies arise in his head in which he most brutally kills everyone who offends him.
In addition, the guy meets the daughter of the psychologist Violet. The girl tried to cut the veins in the bath, either because of serious personal problems, or because of teenage emotionality. Tate, forcing her to do this, said that she was doing everything wrong and it was better to lock the door with a lock or deadbolt. Subsequently, he became friends with Violet. Ben, on the other hand, found out that his patient did not specifically take the medications prescribed by the doctor.

As it turns out later, Tate liked Violet. Young people really have a lot in common. Both of them were disappointed in their parents, and this was what brought them closer together. Also, thanks to the dialogue that took place between the young people in the girl’s room, it became clear that Tate’s favorite music performer was Kurt Cobain. Tate and Violet do not like Ben, and he drives the guy away. Tate doesn’t stop communicating with the girl. He even decided to help her scare a cocky classmate and for this he resorted to the help of the Infantata. This worked, but additionally frightened Tate’s lover herself, after which she did not want to see him anymore. The guys again began to communicate only after the guy defended the girl from people who entered the house, resorting to ghosts.
Character summary
In general, Tate Langdon cannot be described as an exceptionally evil character. Rather, he fell prey to circumstances. Since his parents were not involved in his upbringing, the boy grew up all alone, which greatly pressed his psyche. There was no one to speak, I had to accumulate all the negativity in myself. Once the guy just broke and threw out all the anger accumulated in him at once, she even touched those who were not to blame for what happened.
All his actions as a ghost can hardly be justified. Take, for example, killings without hesitation, the desire to get a child at any cost. On the other hand, this goal can be understood. Still, Nora was the first who reacted well to him, because he wholeheartedly wanted to help her. And of course, his love for Violet. She was clean and real. The guy, even as a ghost, wanted to protect his beloved, not to let him destroy himself. From all this it follows that Tate could be a good person and would not commit a crime if he received at least a little love.

The role of Tate was played by American film actor Evan Thomas Peters. He was born on January 20, 1987. He gained the greatest fame thanks to the role of Mercury in the X-Men series.
