Having tasted dessert once, it is simply impossible not to fall in love with it. Not for nothing translated from Italian, the name of the cake sounds like "go to heaven."
A bit about dessert ...
Tiramisu cake combines the refined taste of mascarpone cheese, a barely noticeable coffee note and a light bitterness of natural cocoa. The history of the dessert tells that its taste was compared with a kiss: heady, bitter and tender. It’s not so difficult to make Tiramisu cake at home. There are different dessert options. It is about them that we want to talk about in our article.
The classic Tiramisu cake is prepared on the basis of eggs and mascarpone. But at home, housewives also use cream.
The composition of "Tiramisu"
Tiramisu cake contains not so many ingredients: savoyardi cookies, delicate mascarpone cheese and Italian Marsala wine. It is from these products that a classic cake is made. In our stores you can find Italian cheese in packs of 500 and 250 grams. Savoyardi cookies are also sometimes on sale. But if desired, you can use other biscuits, including your own cooking. Marsala wine in Italy is even called culinary because of its palatability. Sicilian drink has a characteristic aroma of burnt caramel and ship tar. Of course, not every housewife has such wine in the kitchen. But it can be successfully replaced with madeira, rum, cognac or brandy.
Classic recipe
A classic cake is made with savoyardi cookies. But for our hostesses, a reference recipe is not possible, since the Italian confectioners themselves claim that all cakes prepared outside the country are just variations on this topic. Let the Tiramisu cake cooked at home not the same as in Italy, all the same it is incredibly tasty. For the preparation of dessert, you can use fat cream and cottage cheese.
For cooking, we need savoryadi cookies. Finding it in stores is not always possible. Therefore, you have to cook it yourself, because without it you cannot cook a torus.
Savoyardi Recipe
To make Savoyardi cookies, we need:
- 3 yolks,
- sugar (4 tbsp.),
- 5 proteins
- icing sugar (15 g),
- flour (1/2 tbsp. l.).
We divide the eggs into yolks and squirrels. Beat proteins with a mixer until stable peaks are obtained. Gradually add sugar and beat the mass until it becomes snow-white and homogeneous. Beat the yolks in a separate bowl with sugar. Gently mix the proteins with the yolks and add the flour, knead the dough.
We spread the cookies in the form of “fingers” and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Five minutes before the Savoyardi is ready, sprinkle with powdered sugar. Next, put the cookies in the refrigerator for the whole day. The classic recipe uses yesterday's dough.
Dessert recipe
It’s not so difficult to make Tiramisu cake at home. For this we need products:
- cottage cheese (390 g),
- 5 eggs
- Marsala (145 g) (it can be replaced with cognac or rum),
- biscuit cookies (240 g),
- cocoa (4 tbsp.),
- coffee.
If all products are available, it is very easy to assemble Tiramisu cake from cookies. Separate the yolks from the proteins. The first very carefully rub with sugar. After obtaining the white mass, add the cottage cheese (it must first be squeezed).
Beat the whites until peaks are obtained, then carefully transfer them to the curd-yolk mass. In Turk we make coffee and add alcohol to it. Each cookie must be dipped in coffee mass. We spread the moist biscuit blanks to the bottom of the baking dish (it is better to use a split mold). Spread half of the egg cream on top and level its surface. This is followed by another layer of cookies, and then again a cream. We send the finished product to the refrigerator for 8 hours. Dessert can be decorated with cocoa powder on top. So the Tiramisu cake is ready from savoyardi cookies without baking.
Sponge Cake Dessert
What to do if you want to make Tiramisu cake at home, but there is no Savoyardi cookie available? Mistresses replace cookies with “Creamy” or “Anniversary”. Of course, such a dessert can not be called real, but this does not make it any less tasty. Cake still has a delicate delicate taste. But there are other options. For example, you can make a Tiramisu cake with sponge cakes.
To simplify the cooking process, you can purchase ready-made honey biscuits in the store. We will need four thin cakes. If you purchased a magnificent sponge cake, then it can be divided into four layers.

Tiramisu without eggs
There are other options for making dessert. So, for example, this recipe for Tiramisu cake at home allows you to cook a treat without eggs.
Ingredients:
- mascarpone (490 g),
- water (290 g),
- fat cream (240 g),
- coffee (two tablespoons),
- amaretto (45 ml),
- Savoyardi (30 pcs.),
- icing sugar (120 g),
- 2 tbsp. l cocoa.
We make a cup of coffee and let it cool, after which we add alcohol. Pour the coffee mass into a wide container, because we have to dip cookies into it. Whip cream until peaks form. To facilitate the process, the mass must first be cooled. Next, add the cream and mascarpone to the cream.
We select the most convenient shape and spread a layer of cookies dipped in coffee on its bottom. We apply a layer of cream on it, and then another layer of savoyardi. On top of the dessert, apply a thick layer of cream. Close the dessert on top with cling film and put in the refrigerator for the night. Before serving, sprinkle cocoa powder on top of it. Tiramisu with mascarpone is ready to eat.
Cherry Tiramisu
To get a delicious and unusual dessert, you can use strawberries, cherries and other fruits and berries.
Ingredients:
- mascarpone (220 g),
- icing sugar (85 g),
- water (210 ml),
- cream (230 g),
- coffee liquor (45 ml),
- natural coffee (2 tbsp. l.),
- black chocolate (55 g),
- fresh or frozen cherry (340 g),
- vanillin,
- Savoyardi (240 g).
Beat cream and add powdered sugar, mascarpone and vanillin. Mix well with a blender or mixer. We make coffee, and it’s better to make natural. Add liquor to the drink and wait for it to cool.
In previous recipes, we laid out cookies on the bottom of the forms. In this cooking option, we will lay out the dessert in portioned bowls. Therefore, at the bottom of each lay several tablespoons of cream cream. Then we dip the savoyardi in coffee, but only on one side. The dry side should be in contact with the cream. If the cookies are longer than the diameter of the bowl, then it can be safely broken into pieces. The taste of the dessert will not suffer from this. Next, put the fruit layer in the molds. Apply cream on top. Next, repeat the layers, starting with Savoyard and ending with the cream. Garnish the dessert with grated chocolate. And on top lay the cherry and a leaf of mint.
Banana Tiramisu Cake
How to bake Tiramisu? The classic recipe does not imply baking, since the dessert is prepared on the basis of ready-made cookies. If there is no real Savoyard, you can bake something like that. In addition, the housewives make a cake based on biscuit cakes. They can be purchased at the store or prepared independently. Ingredients for Biscuit:
- flour (210 g),
- 6 eggs
- a glass of sugar
- vanillin.
For impregnation:
- coffee (2 tbsp.),
- water (240 g)
- rum (35 ml),
- 3 tsp Sahara.
For cream:
- cocoa (25 g),
- sugar (85 g)
- cream (240 g),
- mascarpone (480 g).
We make natural coffee with sugar and add rum.
Since we will cook the biscuits on our own, we will need a mixer or have to beat eggs with our hands. Beat eggs, and then add vanillin and sugar. We continue the process until the mass becomes lush, increasing in volume up to two times. Next, sift the flour through a sieve and introduce into the whipped mass. Knead the dough, bringing it with a spoon until smooth. We divide the finished mass into two parts and pour into two forms, covered with foil. Bake the biscuits in the oven until cooked.
In a mixer bowl, whip the cream until fluffy and place them in a cold place. Next, beat the mascarpone with sugar. We mix the two masses together and get a delicious dessert cream.
All ingredients are prepared, so you can start collecting the cake. Soak the biscuit with a coffee drink, and apply cream on top. Banana Strawberry Dessert
The fruitful Tiramisu turns out to be very tasty. Delicate dessert with banana and strawberries - a real pastry masterpiece.
Ingredients:
- coffee nat. (240 g)
- Savoyardi (185 g),
- yogurt (120 g),
- cream (285 g),
- curd cheese (185 g),
- strawberries (380 g),
- icing sugar (95 g),
- 2 bananas
- mint leaves
- bitter chocolate.
For the convenience of cooking, we need a split mold. We make natural coffee with sugar. Add a little liquor or any other liquor to it. Rinse the strawberries and cut them into slices, peel the bananas and cut into circles. Beat soft cheese with a mixer along with icing sugar and yogurt. After thickening the mass, add pre-whipped cream in portions.
We lay the sides and bottom of the form with savoyardi cookies. Wet the biscuits on top with a coffee drink. Next, lay out a layer of chopped bananas and strawberries, on which we apply the cream.
