The first birthday celebration is a very important event in the life of every family. And children, of course, should not eat too junk food, including desserts, on this holiday. Sponge base
The easiest to work, as well as one that will appeal to everyone, is the biscuit base. To prepare sponge cake cakes for a girl for 1 year, we need the following products:
- eggs - 2 pcs.;
- flour - 70 g;
- sugar - 70 g.
In order to make the cake larger, the products need to be proportionally added.

Stuffing can be prepared from a not too common compote. To prepare it you will need:
- lemon - 0.5 pcs.;
- apples - 500 g;
- sugar - 50 g;
- gelatin - 15 g;
- water - a little for the swelling of gelatin.
Dilute gelatin in a small amount of water and leave to swell. We clear the apples from the cores and peels, cut them into small cubes and fill them with sugar. Then pour lemon juice.
Now you need to boil the apples until cooked over low heat under a lid, and then drain all the liquid using a colander. No need to drain the liquid into the sink. Leave it to soak the cake, if you use compote for the layer.
Gelatin is added to pureed apples and mixed as thoroughly as possible.
By the time the applesauce is cooked, the sponge cake has cooled down and can be pulled out of the mold. Water remaining after cooking apples, soak the biscuit.
The mold in which the future cake was baked should be covered with cling film and pour in the compote. And on top very carefully put the cake. We also close the surface with cling film and send the semi-finished cake for 2 hours to the freezer.
To all this, you just need to add a light curd and banana souffle, which is included in the cake recipe for a 1 year old girl. And 1.5 hours after the cake is pulled out of the freezer, you can begin to prepare it. For souffle you will need:
- cottage cheese - 0.5 kg (uniform, without lumps);
- bananas - 4 pcs.;
- cream - 500 ml (fat content should be at least 33%);
- sugar - 200 g;
- gelatin - 20 g;
- water - in order to dilute gelatin.
Cooking:
- Bananas need to be peeled, broken into several pieces each and covered with sugar. Turn them into mashed potatoes with a blender. Add cottage cheese there, turning everything into a homogeneous mass. Now you need to whip the cream. It is better to cool them before this. And one more thing: do not whip the cream for too long to avoid turning this product into oil.
- Add cream to the cottage cheese and banana puree. Melt gelatin in a water bath and immediately add to the curd mass. All this needs to be mixed as quickly as possible.
- Now you need to take a slightly larger shape than we used to bake a biscuit, lay it with cling film and expose the plastic sides. We dump the souffle into this form, take the biscuit with stewed fruit out of the freeze and literally sink it in the souffle. The biscuit should be on the surface.
- We send the cake for at least 6 hours in the freezer. This treat, useful for a small child, will then need to be decorated in a suitable way.
Banana and Peach Filling
The filling can be prepared easier, but then you will need to bake at least 2 biscuit cakes. So, for the second version of the layer, you will need these products:
- bananas - 4 pcs.;
- canned peaches - 1 can;
- fat cream - 500 ml;
- sugar to taste.
Bananas need to be cut, and peach syrup drained into a bowl. Lubricate the cakes with this syrup so that they are saturated, and the cake is more tender.
Beat cream with sugar with a mixer (do not overdo it so as not to get sweet butter).
Lubricate the resulting cream with the lower soaked cake, and on top lay the bananas and peaches. Cover the filling on top with another biscuit cake. You can start decorating goodies.
