The group "Pompeii" appeared on the Russian stage relatively recently, but has already found its army of fans. Their music and vocals are unique and unlike anything else. Detailed information about the team is contained in the article.
History of creation
Four guys, real professionals in the field of music and vocals, decided to organize a team and conquer the Moscow audience. The Pompeii group was established in 2006. Unlike other performers on our stage, the guys did not have to go long for success and fame.
The very first performance of the team brought him popularity. Fashionable metropolitan clubs interested in the group "Pompeii." The photos of the four musicians began to decorate the posters of these institutions. At parties, they performed along with such mastodon scenes as Travis and Stereo-phonics.

- Nairi Simonyan (drums);

Career continuation
The music performed by the guys is a kind of mix of guitar parts, dance pop rock and vocals in new wave. Members of the team believe that their compositions are characteristic of the 70-80s of the last century.
In 2007, the Pompeii group was awarded the Golden Gargoyle Club Award. This is a very good result, given the fact that only 1 year has passed since its inception. Usually this award went to foreign bands, for example, Crystal Castles and Stereo MCs. Our heroes managed to prove that Russian dance music is also worth something.
Dizzying success in the club industry pushed the guys to create their own unique style. Almost 1.5 years they did not get out of the recording studios. And soon the band presented a single and a video for the song Cheenese. The result of their work fell in love with the finicky Moscow party.
Between 2007 and 2012 Pompeya band takes part in club music festivals. Among them can be distinguished "Picnic Poster", Faces & Laces, Stereo-leto and others. And to this day, the guys are touring the major cities of Russia, Moldova, Vietnam and Belarus.
Albums and their presentations
In May 2012, the vinyl version of the single Cheenese was released. The album had a limited edition, so not all fans of the group were able to purchase it. Soon, the album Night was on sale. It included the 4 best tracks from Pompeya. This work of the group was highly appreciated not only by fans, but also by music critics.
In November 2014, the presentation of the new Pompeii album took place. It included 7 tracks, including two remixes of already known singles - Satellite and Night. Already in October, the record could be purchased on iTunes. This album is called Liar (Liar in English). The composition of the same name was enjoyed by many Internet users. The music used in it envelops the listener, as it were, immerses him in his atmosphere.
