The basis of the multi-part thriller, which takes place in the distant 1965, was based on real events of the military and post-war years. According to the scriptwriters' idea, the story was based on the story of an insidious and mean woman executioner, nurse Antonina Makarova, who entered into a conspiracy with the Germans and, at their direction, shot local residents, captured partisans and prisoners of war. These terrifying events were included in the series “The Executioner” (Russia). According to reports, over 1,500 people died by the hand of a twenty-year-old traitor who went down in history as Tyunka the machine-gunner. Moreover, most of the dead are ordinary citizens.

It was these police officers who had previously succeeded in investigating a very complicated case, and then, in hot pursuit, detained a serial maniac who killed nine people.

During the filming of the series, many people were involved, including collectors of retro cars. In particular, members of the closed club "Crew" came to the site where the film was shot. According to the director’s stories, many of them gladly agreed to provide their cars for filming.
Moreover, thanks to the efforts of the employees of the Myshkin National Museum and club members, it was possible to recreate original copies of genuine German BMW-R71 motorcycles. These models were literally assembled by hand. Later they were involved in the series “The Executioner”. Actors and roles (2015 was marked by the release of the film) in this film were also ideally suited for the most realistic display of the war and post-war time.
