Porridge is becoming less popular in our kitchens. Someone is too lazy to cook these healthy products, someone considers them to be “glamorous” food that spoils the image. And completely in vain. Properly prepared cereals, energize the body, are perfectly absorbed, remove toxins. And at the same time they do not spoil the figure at all. And if you cook cereals with fruits or vegetables, then you can lose weight in a short time.

A special place among these dishes is wheat porridge. It can be cooked in milk or water, be sweet or salty, lean or meat.

Each method of cooking wheat porridge requires knowledge of some subtleties. Having mastered them, any housewife will be able to pamper her family with delicious and healthy dishes from the most inexpensive products.

Let's start with the simplest recipe. Wheat porridge on water is cooked from one glass of crushed wheat and two glasses of water. The cereal is poured into boiling salt water, a spoonful of vegetable or butter is added there. Everything boils for 20 minutes. After that, it is recommended to put the dishes with porridge in a warm oven for "ripening". If this is not possible, porridge can be wrapped in blankets.

For such a porridge you need to cook:
