Hydrocortisone is present in Proctosedil (suppository). This substance from the group of glucocorticosteroids has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect. The component helps to reduce the volume of serous secretions. Framycetin, which is part of the drug, belongs to the aminoglycoside group. This antimicrobial substance has bactericidal activity against gram-positive, gram-negative microflora. The medicine "Proctosedil" (suppositories) contains heparin. This anticoagulant substance prevents thrombotic complications. Angioprotective effect is provided due to the activity of esculoside - a plant component present in the medication. This substance increases the elasticity of the walls of blood vessels, reduces the fragility of capillaries, reduces the severity of exudation.
As local anesthetics, the preparation contains ethyl and butylaminobenzoate. Thanks to their influence, pain, spasm, itching in the anorectal region are eliminated.
Indications
The drug is prescribed for external and internal hemorrhoids. The indications also include proctitis and perianal eczema.

The medication is recommended topically, rectally. Suppositories are injected into the rectum, after emptying or a cleansing enema. It is recommended to introduce 2 pcs / day (by candle in the morning and evening hours). Experts recommend introducing candles in a horizontal position and stay in it for 20-30 minutes after using the drug. The duration of therapy is no longer than a week. Adverse reactions
