Biography
Anton Borisovich Kukushkin was born in Moscow on October 5, 1976 in a family of mathematicians. In 1993, after graduating from a school with a mathematical bias, he entered the Moscow State University on mechanical engineering, following in the footsteps of his parents.
Studying in the third year, I became interested in drama and began performing in the student theater. The first solo number of the artist was “Whistle under the Piano”.
After listening to the advice of Alexei Kortnev, a colleague on the stage, in 1998 Anton Kukushkin entered Panteleeva’s course at the Schukin Theater School. A year later, the young man graduated from Moscow State University.
2002 was an important year for the actor: he graduated from a theater school and became a laureate of the All-Russian Reader Competition named after Smolensky.
Career
In 2001, Anton Kukushkin was accepted into the troupe of the Satire Theater, where he served until 2009. There he played the role of:
- Nelkin in "Krechinsky's Wedding";
- Bobby Franklin in "Too Married Taxi Driver";
- the young artist in "We're still funny ...";
- Lucien in the production of “Wait ?!”;
- Sergey Grantus in Homo Erectus.
He played the role of Yasha in the play "The Cherry Orchard" (in the project of the Stanislavsky Foundation).
In 2008, he took part in the play of the Modern Theater (Once Upon a Time in Paris, the role of Lucien). Since 2010, collaborates with the theater "Practice" (project "Man.doc", the role of contemporary artist Oleg Kulikov).
While working in the theater, Anton simultaneously starred in films and TV shows. The debut in the cinema was the episodic role of the lieutenant in the famous television series "The Brigade" (2002).
In 2003, the actor played small roles in several series at once:
