Since the school was originally municipal, the city administration in 1980 allocated the second floor of a brick building. The conditions of the premises were again not conducive to classes, but, as you know, artists can work in any circumstances. Even though there was not enough space and sculpture classes took place in the basement of the building, the graduates had the brightest memories of their first creative workshops.
In 1982, the school director K. G. Trepakov independently designed a new building and approved it by the administration. Currently, the Krasnogorsk art school is certified as a school of the highest category. More than a third of all its graduates associate their life with art, and the staff of the educational institution for the most part consists of former students. Every year the school develops, its students participate in exhibitions, competitions and often take prizes.
What is the education system
Krasnogorsk art school has several levels of education. It includes a preparatory level and further training, which is designed for 4 years. After graduation, an official certificate is issued, which confirms that the training was successful. The enrollment of children in the initial stage begins from 8 years. Preparatory courses at the art school of Krasnogorsk are held 2 times a week.
Education for children at the initial stage is paid, but starting from the first grade, the state pays for the education of children.
What disciplines are taught
Education in the art school takes place in several areas:

- easel composition;
- sculpture.
